Weekend Plans

What does everyone have going on this weekend?

Tomorrow we will be cleaning cleaning cleaning. We have made some serious progress in the past couple of weeks in getting stuff hung on the walls, but still have more to do. Also getting the last of the Christmas decorations up in the attic. Also have several boxes in the formal dining room that I need to disperse to other (more hidden) parts of the house. Saturday night DH and I are going on a date! WOOHOO! 2nd time away from the kids since Layla was born Smile We're going to see "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" and wherever else the wind blows us. Sophia's old teacher is coming to babysit and S LOVES her so she is excited. I was hoping we could get to see Kara (DH still hasn't met her) but we both still have a bad cold so that isn't going to happen this weekend. Sad

Sunday we are having a few people over for dinner. "the Africans" as I like to call them (DH's friends) Wink Thus all the cleaning on Saturday Wink

Tomorrow we have gymnastics classes in the morning. Andrew is doing his first parent-tot class, then Ava has her class afterwards. I'm excited! But both kiddos have a cough. They are not sick, it's just lingering from a cold a few weeks ago, but I worry we're going to get the side eye for bringing them to class. it's the first class though, so I don't want to miss it.

Tomorrow night is the Broncos big game! We'll be watching with friends. Goooo Broncos!! Smile

Sunday we have lunch with some friends. Then hopefully, the snow melts enough so we can get the Christmas lights off our house that afternoon.

Yay for a date night, Carrie! FUN!!

Sometime before 3:00pm tomorrow, I have to go shopping for a birthday gift for a one year old girl. Then the party's from 3-5 (way across town), then we'll try to make it back to our side of town for church at 6:00. Sunday will be cleaning, laundry and grocery shopping as usual. And finally boxing up all the Christmas stuff. It's all taken down, I just need to pack it away.

Amy you just need to pay someone to clean that house!!! I had Jenn's mom's company do it...one less thing for me to worry about Smile

I just got a call from the dentist office...apparently Sophia has a check-up tomorrow. I hate it when I book those appointments 6 months in advance and then they sneak up on me out of nowhere. :censored:

Tomorrow, delivering an order to a client out of town, then two of my aunts are coming for the weekend. We'll shop, watch the Niner game at The Bear, and relax. Smile Monday, more newborn/sibling shots, and hopefully some cupcake product shots Smile yum

We are having Vivi baptised on Sunday, so this weekend is lots of running around!

Earlier today I ran to my parents with the kids to get the ham we're making (it was in their freezer). Then went to my grandparents to get get some extra chairs. Then to the store to get milk. We're home now, but later this afternoon we're scheduled to meet with the pastor who's doing her baptism.

Tomorrow I need to go to the grocery store, make the food, pick up the cake, and do the last of my cleaning.

Sunday is the baptism and then we're having everybody over to our house for lunch and cake.

Kristen, I'll share some next week! I wish you were closer. We haven't had any professional pictures taken of her. Sad

Her baby acne is finally gone as of today! She looks like a totally different baby!

Yesterday was our anniversary and Justin was off. We had a play date with a friend at our house. Deacon loves her little girl and they had a blast together and both cried when they had to leave. Yesterday evening we took the kids to my moms and went to pick up food and came back home to watch a movie. I wasn't up for any public appearances....I'm so tired I told jus I'd fall asleep at the table. Lol

Today I am meeting friends for lunch. We get together every year for Christmas but this year three of us had babies at the end of the year so we postponed it until today.

This afternoon and tomorrow will be all about the football play offs.

Ashley, we haven't done professional pics yet either. I have an appt for Thursday and am going to try to change it to this afternoon or tomorrow. Jus has taken about 600 pictures but he is so picky about his pics that he still doesn't have one he likes. He has to get a good one soon so he can design the birth announcement.

Kristen, I just didn't even plan to have them done! And now, I might as well wait until she's sitting up to take her. I remember Miles' 3 month ones being really lame because they're just so awkward -- can't sit up, lay funny, lol. I've been taking lots of pictures of her anyways. Sidenote: My MIL is setting up a little photography studio, I might take her over there just for fun. Obviously they won't be anything really brilliant, but I think I could probably get a couple decent ones. Lol

Jenn, make sure you share when you get them done!

Tanya, I have to go read the other thread, but I hope you enjoy your last weekend as a family of 3!!!

DH and I went on a double date with some friends last night and had so much fun! Today will be my Kroger shopping day and getting my DS ready for his sleepover tonight. Sunday we'll go to church and hopefully relax a bit.

Last night we didn't do anything. Today my BFF is coming over to hang out with me and the girls, I haven't seen her in forever! Then later tonight we're heading to a friends place a couple hours away1 for her son's 2nd birthday party tomorrow.

To all of this I say :jawdrop: I will never complain about our "cold" days again.
