This weekend was Deaf Awareness Day at Knotts Berry Farm. I had the pleasure of interpreting the Camp Snoopy stage show! It was a lot of fun. It was a Halloween themed show with songs like, "Thriller", "Monster Mash", "Witch Doctor" (bing bang a walla wall bing bang), "Adams Family" and "Time Warp" (from Rocky Horror Picture Show). I had a blast! Every time there was a "scary laugh", I put my hands on my belly and shook it like Santa Claus! LOL! It was hilarious!
The highlight of the whole experience was when a little girl.. about 5 years old, came up to me and asked me for MY autograph! LOL! Her mother said they enjoyed watching me dance and sign more than watching the characters on the stage! I was honored! Here are a few pics of me and my big belly interpreting:
