A bit of worry

Now I have to be on guard!
My DD has twice in the last two days landed on my belly. The first time with her elblow at my bikini line and then tonight bouncing her knee on top of me at the side of my belly button, Knocking the wind out of me.
I am not in pain, but it freaks me out a bit, thinking some injury has occured. Talk me through it if you have had this happen. I believe the fetus is well protected but I still get Paranoid:eek:

DS#1 did that stuff all the time when I was pg and the baby turned out perfectly fine. I know it makes us feel nervous when it happens, but baby is well cushioned in there. Smile

I have had it happen with all the kids. Just take it easy and you really should be fine.

my son likes to sit next to me on the couch and watch tv. except he is the most active tv watcher ever! he is always bouncing on my legs or flat out cramming his hands into my belly! he always likes to have his hands on me (clingy much??) and he's always landing right on the baby area! lol!

there is so much cushion and protection there so i'm not really worrying myself. when i was pg with thomas i was walking the dog and slipped on the ice. i fell HARD on my side. baby was fine. doctor didn't even worry about it! our bodies are made to protect those little ones!

xoxo

I'm pregnant with my fifth, and have had many children bounce on me over the years. I think you are going to be just fine Smile God has a lovely way of protecting our little growing babies.

Lurker*

I have had my 80 pound boxer "box" me square in the belly when I was about 5 months pregnant with my first daughter. This time around, I have been kicked by my 2 year old in the belly and it hurt! But, the baby is very well protected in there.

I think it would take a serious, serious blow of blunt force to do any harm to the baby (and you). I think all is well.

I too believe the babies are very well protected with all the fluid around them but I too would worry. DH rubbed my belly and kind of poked with me one of his fingers and I told him to be careful I don't want the baby coming out dented Smile
