How's baby sleeping? Okay. He gave us a 5 hour stretch last night - that is a big deal for us!
How's feeding (bf or ff) going? Meh. Breast, bottle and pump. Seems like we're always feeding, cleaning up after a feed or preparing to feed!
Did you have a nice Christmas/new year with your new baby? It was great. He starred at family Xmas/New Year's parties! What has been the hardest thing? Feeding, without a doubt!
The easiest? Daily nap times. Sometimes I'll just set him down for a moment and he'll conk out by himself.
How are you feeling? Completely recovered... but a little chunky. Smile

Did you have a nice Christmas/new year with your new baby? Very Smile but glad to have life back to normal

What has been the hardest thing? Trying to get him to sleep anywhere but in my arms

The easiest? BF'ing he loves to eat and has a great latch and my body loves to make milk

How are you feeling? good I should make my PP apt

How's baby sleeping? Fantastic during the night, not so much for the day though.

How's feeding (bf or ff) going? BFing is going OK. I'm not enjoying as much as I did with DS. Aubrey is very distracted. May look at a switch to formula in the near future.

Did you have a nice Christmas/new year with your new baby? Of course we did Smile We spent the two weeks (23rd - 8th jan) between the two families. Although I don't feel rested at all Sad

What has been the hardest thing? Getting her to sleep during the day especially with DS running around. Forming a routine that suits us

The easiest? Her night time sleeping habits

How are you feeling? Not too bad, just joined the weightloss bandwagon to loose this stubborn baby fat.

How's baby sleeping? He sleeps great during the day in his crib and he will only sleep with me during the night because he wants to nurse all night. It's getting frustrating.
How's feeding (bf or ff) going? breastfreeding is going good, I'm trying to get my supply up in my right breast so I'm pumping at the same time I feed sometimes. Its getting a little frustrating.
Did you have a nice Christmas/new year with your new baby? We had a great Christmas! Lots of family and help!
What has been the hardest thing? Taking care of 3 kids by my self while DH is in maylaisia.
The easiest?um..easiest?
How are you feeling? Pretty good! I still have some healing but I feel good!
A recent pic? That reminds me to take more pics of him! I need to find the time!

How's baby sleeping? It's hit and miss, if she falls asleep on you and you move she wakes up. Most nights its a big fight, sometimes up until 2 in the morning and it's hard cause she just wants to be rocked or bounced and when she does fall asleep it has to be in my bed or she wakes up an hour later instead of 3 to 4 hours later.
How's feeding (bf or ff) going? I am bf and its going pretty good, she loves to eat but she likes to eat in 5 minute portions so sometimes I feel like I am constantly feeding her.
Did you have a nice Christmas/new year with your new baby? It was busy with a 5, 4, 1 and 1 month old. But the kids had a great time. I'm really looking forward to next year:)
What has been the hardest thing? The sleep issues and not being able to rest when she does because I have a 1 year as well.
The easiest? not to sure........
How are you feeling? I feel unsure of how I feel to be truthful. I do know that right now I feel like I never want to do the newborn stage ever again.

How's baby sleeping? Meh. During the day he likes to be held while napping, which is tough with 2 other kids. DH is back to work today after a month off, so it's really going to be harder now! At least Em does like being in a wrap or sling. At night he is still eating a lot. I usually get one 3-4 hour stretch and then it's every 1.5-2 hours after that.
How's feeding (bf or ff) going? Not too bad! I made it 6 weeks breastfeeding! After mastitis and thrush and a bad latch, I'm pretty proud. It's still not wonderful but it's getting easier.
Did you have a nice Christmas/new year with your new baby? It was great! My big brother got to meet Em, which was lovely for me. My brother is pretty much a hippie (LOL) and world traveler so he hasn't spent much time with my kids. It was nice being around family because of all the grandma's who wanted to hold Em and give me a break!
What has been the hardest thing? Breastfeeding. Trying to take care of 3 kids on my own, especially at bedtime.
The easiest? Nothing has been EASY. But I am so glad he's here! How about falling in love with him has been easiest?
How are you feeling? Not too bad. My bleeding finally stopped last week. It had been on and off before that, but 5 weeks pretty much finished it off. I still have some tenderness where my stitches were, but it's getting better. Emotionally I am doing pretty well - I know this will be hard with 3 kids 4 and under but we'll take it 1 day at a time!

How's feeding (bf or ff) going? BF is going fantastic! I'm pumping at work and have about 27oz stored in the freezer!
Did you have a nice Christmas/new year with your new baby? It was great!
What has been the hardest thing? Being at work away from T.

How's baby sleeping? Not great; she is still pretty random. Most days she naps a lot but at night she is sometimes up every hour.

How's feeding (bf or ff) going? BF, going ok. I have a fast let down & she doesn't like it, so her latch is not good and she is always pulling off the breast & spraying milk everywhere. She is gaining weight well though.

Did you have a nice Christmas/new year with your new baby? Very busy & crazy. Kids had fun though.

What has been the hardest thing? Trying to feed the baby while taking care of my 2 boys. Ever tried to breastfeed while dragging a child into timeout, lol?

The easiest? she has a very calm temperament.

How are you feeling? Exhausted!

Baby's name: Carter

Baby's age: 2 1/2 months

How's baby sleeping? He sleeps great through the night since we have implemented a routine. I couldn't ask for a better baby.

How's feeding (bf or ff) going? We are using Enfamil Gentlease because he has a sensitive tummy. My boy eats ALL THE TIME when he is awake.

Did you have a nice Christmas/new year with your new baby? I did. We had a nice overnight stay with Matt's parents for Christmas and New Years. I got to sleep a lot and read my Kindle while the rest of the family fawned over my baby. It was wonderful.

What has been the hardest thing? Not being able to breastfeed. But my baby sleeps through the night so I guess that's the trade off I got.

The easiest? Getting Carter in a routine was much easier than I thought it would be. I've also been putting him down while he's awake (but not crying) so that he can put himself to sleep.

How are you feeling? Emotionally I'm great. My PPD is in check and I'm back at work. I've had 2 pp af's. Right now I have a horrible virus and blisters in my throat but hopefully it will go away soon.

How's baby sleeping? Pretty good, actually! During the day he has naps in his swing/bouncy chair, and night he sleeps in his bed. We are working on getting him to fall asleep on his own in the evening, but its not going so well. He doesn't take a soother, so that doesn't help either. And then he's up once, maybe twice during the night. Some nights are different though!

How's feeding (bf or ff) going? Bf'ing is going great! He has a good latch, and is a good eater. Best nurser I have had yet! Hurrah!

Did you have a nice Christmas/new year with your new baby? Yes, very nice. We had a quiet Christmas this year with just one gathering with my side of the family. New Years we stayed home and I was asleep by 10pm. Smile

What has been the hardest thing? Adjusting to life with three under 4, I'd say! Plus we just moved a week before having Logan, so I've been unpacking/organizing.. and this house is WAY bigger, so its a lot more work to keep clean. But, I'm getting the hang of juggling it all! Smile

The easiest? Umm... easy? Not sure. But, Logan is a pretty easy going baby, so after he eats, he plays in his bouncy chair or on the floor and the kids talk to him... and he finally likes his swing, too, so that has helped tremendously! Now we just have to get him to take a soother or something so he doesn't need me to sooth himself.

How are you feeling? Pretty good. Emotionally good, a little tired, sometimes overwhelmed. Kinda struggling to lose the last of the baby weight, and it doesn't help that my boobs are the size of melons. Honestly, its ridiculous how big they are. My SIL went shopping with me yesterday to pick out some new clothes, and was shocked that my boobs are so big. I used to be a M in tops, and now I'm a L. But they are just HUGE! I'm trying not to get down about my size right now... I have to keep reminding myself, I did just have a baby. Goal: to lose 20lbs (10lbs from having Logan, and 10lbs from the other two), and get back in shape! Smile
