Exercise?

Anyone else exercising still? If so, what are you doing?

I'm probably averaging 3-4 workouts a week - usually 2 swims and 2 walks. Starting prenatal yoga in July!

Last night I walked for about an hour with a backpack ... stopped part way through to get some delicious cherries. Today I am SORE. I'm just not used to being so "wimpy"- especially since I really don't have much of a belly yet. Is this normal?

I have started prenatal yoga (love it!) and I also do Wii Fit workouts at home. I like the rhythmic boxing...works up a sweat! Your body will react differently to excersise while preg. Just wait til you're in your 3rd trimester....fun!

I've been so bad lately, I haven't been doing any exercise at all... unless you count chasing after three kids all day lol! I ended up cancelling my gym mymbership last week because it was just a waste of money every month. I told my hubby I want to start taking walks every day with him. He agreed, but lets see if he follows through on that lol!

I pop in a prenatal workout when I have the energy, but I have to admit..it's not as often as I'd like. I'm thinking of just walking/light jog for awhile for stress reasons and hoping it wakes my sleepy body up! My desire is there, man my energy level just doesn't hold out!

To answer a question posted: When i work out I have a hard time keeping up like I did before. It amazes me like..hey..I'm not THAT pregnant yet. LOL. But seriously, the same workouts I've done for over 10 years have becomes extremely hard. Sad

I have not exercised for the last month but I went back to zumba class yesterday. It was hard but really fun! I am hoping to get more exercise in now that I am feeling better.

i got in a 3 mile jog today...in the rain! it felt so great to get out. i was really sick with C.diff for 5 weeks which meant i couldn't go out for a run the whole time. then we went on vacation for 2 weeks and i did absolutely nothing. it feels really nice to be back jogging.

i usually take thomas in the jogger with me but since it was raining today i went solo. i have to say it is so much easier to get out and go when you don't have to worry about a toddler with you!

All of you who are still running/jogging are seriously hardcore. Good for you!!! Thinking about it makes my boobs hurt...

Walking makes me feel awesome, so I'm definitely going to start doing it at least 6 days a week.

I feel like such a blob reading all of your posts!

Is cleaning the house exercise? Because that's about as much as I do, apart from the normal errands!

i ran a really slow 2.5 miles with the jogger this morning. it's getting hot and the jogger is getting heavier and heavier to push. it's funny that a couple months ago i ran a half marathon and now i can barely do 2 miles! oh well.

i run around maritime college and today they were filming inside the fort. have you heard of the show "royal pains" ?? that's what they were filming. didn't see any celebs but i could see the hustle and bustle of the filming which was really neat.

running with sore boobs isn't too bad b/c i feel like after the first couple jiggles you get used to it. i have HUGE boobs so i would know. lol! i have a really great running sports bra that sucks these bad boys in pretty good so it's not too painful.

I seriously think we should receive 9 months paid maternity leave at the moment we get that BFP. I don't know where the money could possibly come from, but this is my fantasy!

oh man it's getting harder and harder to exercise with all this humidity! i barely jogged 2 miles and stopped to walk the rest of the 1.5 miles. at least i moved my butt for an hour but man i miss running and not feeling so sluggish.
