I think he dropped

I think Carter has dropped. Last night I got jabbed in the cervix a few times (which hasn't happened before) and it did NOT feel good. It woke me up from a dead sleep and almost made me cry. Today my belly looks lower and one of my co-workers said, "Oh it looks like your baby dropped!"

OMG I am having a baby soon and I have to push it out of where?! The reality has set in. My hoo-ha will never be the same!!!

Oh also, those pregnancy books say his movement won't be as strong as last trimester since gains weight and runs out of room to move. NOT MY CHILD! His movements get stronger every single day. He may just walk on out when I go into labor.

Whoohoo Smile At my u/s baby was head down today....hopefully he stays put that way!

The little bleeding scare today got me thinking that with 9'ish weeks left I REALLY need to get things ready. I feel like I have a lot to do that isn't fun -- like calling the county to see where/how we get rid of an extra mattress (it's not really donate-able b/c DH's dog did some damage to one side along the way), and old dresser, and then we have to clean out the closet in the room and paint (well DH has to paint haha). UGH!

I hate those stabs in the cervix!

My LO has been so low the whole time. He's not "dropped" really, but he sure likes to punch me REAL low!

Time is going so fast, I'm going to FREAK OUT!

Yeah, seriously! There is most definitely not a 10-cm hole anywhere on MY body!

And this, too. The books are insistent that multiples super-duper run out of room and stop beating up mom, but it's all lies!

Same here...I have been getting the low punches for weeks now. The only thing I have left to do is pack my hospital bag, I am so ready for this baby to come out. I am freaking about making sure we find someone to watch DS while we are on the way to the hospital.

Lol your "hoo-ha" will be just fine... having babies it part of her job, it's what she was built for!!! If you're that worried about it, just do lots of kegals after baby comes!

I seriously came on here to ask if anyone else thought their baby had dropped lower. I woke up this morning and my belly looked lower to me. I thought huh, maybe she dropped. THEN my sis in law saw me at a craft fair that I was vending at all weekend (and yes, lifting and moving things...but nothing heavier than my son...bad me!) and she said that I looked like I was carrying her low. I said I thought so, and had noticed this morning after my shower. Plus my heartburn has subsided GREATLY in the last week or so. and DH agreed that my belly looked lower.
I really don't think she's going to stay in till November 21. I am really thinking I've got like 6-7 weeks left at this point. Guess its time to get my bedroom and my son's room cleaned up and ready to have another person staying in there!!! oh and pack my bag.

Congrats on another milestone towards your little Carter! He's just around the corner.

has your cervix started to feel like it has 200 lbs resting on it? Biggrin
