Introducing myself!

Hi ladies!
My name is Julie. I'm 29, my dh is Nathan. This is my 6th pregnancy, third child. We have been blessed with two wonderful, energetic children Olivia (will be 4 in July) and Noah (just turned 2 in April). I have also had three miscarriages (Jan '06, June '06 and Oct '10). We are expecting #3, and I am due end of November (25th or 28th, I can't remember). I had an ultrasound last week, and got to see the heartbeat, which was very reasurring! I just had my first midwife appointment today (and am excited that a friend of mine is my midwife!-she delivered Noah and was my student for Olivia). I will be going for another u/s in 2 weeks just to make sure baby is still growing. I am excited to join you ladies here, and hope to get to know you all!!

Wonderful to "meet" you Julie. Congratulations on the strong heartbeat - almost out of the first trimester! I'm also doing out of hospital care and I LOVE it- I'm glad we have that in common Smile

Thanks ladies! I am pretty excited! Especially now since I've had an u/s and my first midwife appt.. everything seems "real" now! I am going for another u/s on the 19th, as we couldn't hear the heartbeat at my appt. on Wed. Due to my history of miscarriages, they just want to make sure things are still going well.
Hehe, my midwife was actually my student midwife when I was pg. with my daughter. And then she delivered my son, and now she will be doing this one too. My other midwife just moved, who also delivered both kids, but she told me to call her as soon as I go into labour and she's coming for my birth. I am totally pumped for that! Who is lucky enough to have the same midwife at all their births? I am good friends now with both of them, and hang out with them often, which is awesome! That's what I love about midwifery care, its so personable. I recommend it to anyone!
I am looking forward to getting to know you all as well. I don't get on here that often, but I'll try to post when I can.
Thanks again! Smile
