Kelty Kids carriers

Does anyone here know anything about these?

I have just gone and bought one for $110 brand new, older model off a NZ deal site.

We have one, it's the TC 2.0 I think. It's nice, but it can be heavy when the child gets heavier. I like it because it's pretty easy to hoist onto your back. We didnt get out hiking this summer so we didn't use it with Jack as a toddler, but I think he would have liked it.

*Oct lurker*

I have a framed Kelty Kids Carrier. I don't know the exact model, it was bought brand new in 2009. I LOOOOOVE it! DH has hiked many places around O'ahu with DD on his back and I've gone several places with her on my back also.

Here's my photo album on FB, on a trip to a botanical garden on O'ahu. Quite a long hike, and it was a work out but it didn't hurt me at all to carry her. She was about 18 - 20 months old in these pics I think.

Oh---I just remembered. I have the sun shield (somewhere)-I got it for mine but it doesnt work for it-different attachment styles. It's for the 3.0 and newer, I think. Anyhow, I'd be willing to sell it for $20 plus shipping. It has the hook and loop attachment, where mine has the snaps. It cost me $50.

Yeah we got the fc3.0 with the attached hood. When it arrives i'll get so to trial it with ds and see how it feels with it on. Fingers crossed it's comfy because he will be the one wearing it and ds will be the one riding in it! Lol the benefits of having a small ds.
