I have a body pillow and couldnt sleep without it.I have always used it,even when I wasnt pregnant.I would LOVE the try one of those, but my body pillow works just fine for me.
I figure sleep is so very important now cause once that little one comes there will be NO SLEEP lol So take advantage of sleeping while your in that comfortable 2nd trimester and splurge.

I bought a boppy with DD but never used it, not even for her, it was a complete waste. I have a long body pillow that my mom left over here. I tried using that the other night, but it just seemed more uncomfortable to me. Maybe it will be of some use in the last trimester... but for now I'm really not uncomfortable when I sleep.

I'm a cheapie and use our normal pillows to prop up my belly.

We have a king size bed with four king pillows. Since they are longer than standard pillows I just use those. Half the time they end up on the floor by morning so I won't be going to the expense of a pregnancy pillow.

This may or may not be helpful, but a nice lady I met through my birth's center group for women due in the fall swears by her leachco:

She said she really loves the support up against her back, too. I'm not sure if I'm going to spring for one of these or not - I am getting pretty uncomfortable in any position.

I have used body pillows and regular pillows. I feel like even the body pillows are too much space taken up, like I feel crowded, even though I have a king size bed. I just feel so cramped. I can't imagine one of those giant pillows that wrap around me.

Non pregnant I sleep with extra pillows too. The smaller pillows are easier to adjust and place, but with the body pillows, if I moved a little then the whole thing would move. Which could be a good thing?

So I went and got the boppy one from Target on my way home. I did not get to give it much of a chance last night since DS was up. I will try it for a few days and if I don;t like it, I can return it. I will try anything for a decent night sleep these days. I sleep best on my back, and that isn't going to happen anymore!

Let us know how it goes! I've JUST started having some difficulty sleeping and may need to look into something similar.

I use a regular body pillow and a couple small pillows and I can usually get pretty comfy. I did look at those pillows but the price tag was quite high here 90 dollars. If things get pretty hard to sleep I might consider it but for now I am good. Good luck and let us know how it works out.

This is our cheap-o solution - we moved my side of the bed up against the wall.

Padding the wall up with pillows and using it to support my back while I lie on my side has been pretty awesome!

Well, I got the pillow and have used it a few days now. I am glad I purchased it! This is the one I got

I have used in it a few different ways and it has worked out well, so I think I will keep it. Ds thinks it is so cool. He ran and got his boppy from when he was little and said "look I have a big pillow too Mommy!!!" Smile

I'm so tempted! How random is it that the posted price on target.com is $50.02 ?
