Plan B for Love?

I think that is the name of the movie, with Jennifer Lopez? She is asingle, wants a baby, gets IUI, then meets a guy that day, first date on the day she gets her bfp?

Anyway I watched it last week and wanted to say something that bothered me. When she gets her first check up. He does a manual check then an u/s. With both, he pulls his glove out and it is bright red blood, he pulls the u/s out bright red blood. He says somethign to the boyfriend like, don't worry completely normal. Whereas I think, yes bleeding can occur and be nothing in pregnancy, but that much blood and that bright red, should cause a little concern. I felt it was beyond the gross out point. kwim? Like in Knocked up, I think there are a few gross out spots, that made me laugh, like when they flash her hoo ha during labor, funny. JLo's bloody exam, not funny.

Has anyone else seen this? How did you feel about it?

I have to agree with you.Too many women take others exsperiances to heart and miss things when a friend or a book says something is "normal" when they should be calling their own dr to make sure things are ok.

It could be. Over here they rename movies all the time. Backup plan sounds much better, because isn't Plan B the morning after pill or something? When I saw the title, I was like nu uh! shut up! a movie about Plan B!
The renaming is completely stupid too because they renamed it in English?? I am trying to think of some other good ones, Bettty and her sisters, anyone want to guess that? umm I have to think of some more.

Haven't seen it but that sounds gross! And the wrong message to new mothers kwim? Creepy even ugh.

I remember visiting NZ in 1991 Madonna's movie was just out there like 6 months after N.America. In NZ they called it "In Bed with Madonna" whereas N.America title was "Truth or Dare"... I have no idea why they change english titles, it seems so dumb.

Haven't seen it. They even renamed Harry Potter, lol. Sorcerer's stone versus Philosopher's stone.

It is called the Backup Plan... and I agree. The scene is ridiculous. I guess they don't expect that real pregnant women (and anyone in the medical profession, for that matter) wouldn't see that and know that it's complete BS? I get that they just put it in there for humor, but give me a break! I did think that knocked up was funny as hell, though... especially with the "crowning" scene and her screaming, "GET OUT!!!" at the little skinny friend! That was so me with DS #1 lol!

In Bed with Madonna! Philosophers Stone? What are they thinking! Lol

I watched Knocked up first time I was pregnant, and I still think it is hilarious! (BTW title here is The First Time, which I feel is a little misleading because it is their first time together, but not their first times). I love the part when they are fighting and he is like, "Eff you hormones" There are so many hilarious scenes in that movie.

That's too weird how they change the names of movies depending on what country they're released it! I wonder why they do that?
