You know that pregnant glow you hear about....well.....I don't have it.!!!! The only glow I have is the glow of exhausted radiating off of me....I apparently am looking so exhausted a few people are starting to notice uh oh..I need to hold out until after mothers day!!! I already had to tell sil since she wouldny stop grilling me LOL...somehow she knew. ..but yah I say that whole pregnancy glow is a lie.. I am looking so run down these days... oh and food question....is it okay to eat canned chicken.? I know deli meat is a no no...

I am sorry that you are feeling so run down, me too most days.
I ave no idea about canned chicken. I don't see why it would be dangerous?

I was just saying to one of my girlfriends last week that I have no idea what they are talking about. I'm certainly not glowing.. I look like the walking dead.

I think with deli meat you heat it to steaming. I tried that a couple weeks ago and it was pretty nasty. I'd rather just not eat it....

I am definitely not glowing!

As for the deli meats, I think it's more so the ones that sit around in the open air all day long. I have been eating canned Tuna, so I dont see why you can't eat canned chicken Smile

They sell canned chicken here like the canned tuna you find on the shelves. You can even get flavoured ones like chicken with mayo and sweet chilli

The pregnant glow is the thin layer of sweat that stays all over your body after having vomitting four or five times in the row...

as for deli meats, the concern is that you can get listeria from it. I must admit, if I want it, I eat it. Usually I get it from our Subway whose little metal containers always have frost on them from being so cold, and I get it put in the toaster oven. I wouldnt eat it from just anywhere, but the chances of getting listeria for me are so remote that I dont even care about it.

i just got myself a salami sandwich from the deli. i ate turkey sandwiches almost every day in my last pregnancy. if you are getting it from a reputable source you are good to go.

oh and canned chicken makes the best chicken salad! i use that alot if i'm too lazy to poach my own chicken (which is pretty often, lol)
