QOTD - Wednesday

What are your favorite TV shows?

I'm currently crazy about Downton Abbey (available on pbs.org or netflix to stream). I watch Portlandia, but I don't love it. Parks & Rec has replaced the spot in my heart that used to be reserved for The Office. Can you tell I use the heck out of the "on demand" feature during day time feedings? LOL.

I think I may have to Netflix Downtown Abbey you're one of many I've seen on FB who love it....

I'm hopelessly invested in Grey's even though they jumped the shark years ago. But I've watched from the start and I just can't give it up LOL

Bones, NCIS, Big Bang Theory are all regularly watched here. And The New Girl is pretty hilarious we started watching that this year.

Typically DH puts the TV on something and I 1/2 watch 1/2 read. Except Greys that's the only show that's "mine" DH has no use for it.

We also watch Dirty Jobs, Diners Drive in and Dives and any other plethora of cable shows DH flips on in the evening.

And then Mickey Mouse Clubhouse b/c I'm a bad parent that lets my 2 year old watch TV Wink

I watch Grey's Anatomy, Glee, and American Idol. What can I say, I'm a musical theatre gal!

I'm currently watching Numb3rs on Netflix. I started season 1 last week and am finishing up season 2 right now. I'm happy there's 6 seasons to keep me busy for a while! I recently watched Life Unexpected on Netflix but it's only 2 seasons so it was shortlived! Netflix is different in Canada so I can't get Downtown Abbey on there! Netflix is so much better in the US.

If we're talking older shows not airing any more, I LOVE The West Wing and Gilmore Girls.

One Tree Hill (final season, so sad!), Glee, The Bachelor (I know it is a train wreck but I'm hopelessly addicted!), Jersey Shore (hahaha), 19 Kids and Counting (LOVE the Duggars!), Full House (takes me back to when I was a kid), Friends, Sister Wives, Toddlers and Tiaras (I know this show is just terrible but I can't help but watch in awe over the psycho moms and their spoiled daughters)

Good question!

Current shows: American Idol, anything on Investigation Discovery channel, So You Think You Can Dance, Mike and Molly... I'm mostly a HUGE HBO fan, so True Blood, Boardwalk Empire, Game of Thrones, and Hung (until they cancelled it just a couple of months ago!), and of course the NFL

No longer on air: Friends, Sex and the City, Six Feet Under, Entorauge

Sandra, I'm watching Life Unexpected right now! (well, not RIGHT now, but in the evenings when the kidlets are in bed!)... we are just about to finish Season 1. I have also watched Being Erica, Drop Dead Diva, etc, etc. Bummer we can't get Downtown Abbey here either. I wish there was some way we could get American Netflix.
We don't have cable/satellite (I'm cheap LOL), so I am not up to date on any regular shows, but I have an app. on my iPhone for City TV, so I've started watching a few shows on there... gotta have something to do when nursing!

I watched Begin Erica too! I really liked Life Unexpected.

Another show I like is Lie to Me.

Oh, Glee! I forgot, that is one of my guilty/embarrassing pleasures Smile Katie, you should DEFINITELY get into Downton Abbey... the first episode of season one starts off a little slow, but you'll end up marathoning the rest (like I did)!
