Saw my OB today

So I had another OB appt today. She was happy with everything. Very happy that I am almost 25 weeks and all is looking good. When she asked how I was feeling it was great to say great, no pains, no swelling and good energy. She was happy with BP charts, blood sugar charts and weight. Baby girls heart beat was in the 150's and sounded great. I am measuring almost 2 weeks ahead. I have another ultrasound on Monday to do a quick check on baby but mostly for checking blood flow. She thinks I am handling all the charting and appts great. If all goes to plan we will be delivering me at 38 weeks...I hit 38 week on Oct 22nd. That is three months seems so close!! It really is crazy to think that at this point of my PG last time I was hospitalized and every day we debated on delivering and finally did at 26w 1d. I am just so happy that things are so very different this time around. I am praying that means I will get a full term, healthy little girl. I also had seen the Internal Medicine Specialist on Mon who also was happy with things. Although she bumped her appts up to every two weeks just like OB so I am busier then ever. It will be all worth it when this little girl is in our arms.

On a side note. I would really appreciate it if me talking about my past history with my PG is hard for someone that they tell me. I try to be careful to not talk to much about it to not scare people or if it just bothers people. Thanks!

Melanie- it is wonderful that everything is going great!!! It is good to her that the dr's are pleased with your charts and results! You do not talk "too much" about your last pregnancy and talking about it doesn't bother me at all. I am in awe of you for doing everything you can to monitor yourself and going to all these checkups! I am so sorry that your last pregnancy was so traumatic and you had to deliver early and you lost your sweet little girl... my heart just breaks for you when I think about it-
I think you have every right to talk about the previous problems, it serves as a caution for everyone as well.
Only 3 more months? How cool! I can't wait to "meet" your baby girl!

Thanks guys!

Asha...thanks for the sweet comments. You made me cry Smile It was hard but I am a firm believer that there is a reason for everything...even if we never get it. And what doesn't kill us makes us stronger. I truly am blessed for my experiences and my son.

I'm so happy that your appointments and pregnancy is going well! You juggle SO much! You're amazing! You don't talk too much about it at all. It's got to be a huge part of who you are and it has to impact how you feel daily, it would be silly not to share that with us! I will continue to hope you have smooth sailing until 38 weeks and deliver a healthy, happy, bouncing baby girl!

I'm so glad to hear everything is going well & hope you have smooth sailing right through to week 38! ITA you don't talk about your last PG too much at all. I can't even imagine what you've been through but please don't keep it bottled up!

Melanie, I totally agree with Asha that that's what we're here for! You have every right to talk about anything and everything that you've gone through, even if it doesn't have anything to do with babies! I feel like half of the time I post on here it's just to vent, and has nothing to do with this baby lol! I can't believe how fast the time is flying!
