scrapbooking?

I was just curious if any of you scrapbook or do monthly pictures?

I do handprints and foot prints every 2 months until they are a year, but I take monthly pictures to see how much they have grown. With Kay and Joshua I did handprints and footprints at 1 month and then 2 and 4 and so on.. but not with Keira.. I feel kind of bad but life just gets busier when you have 4 children, 5 if you count the big one I call my DH.. lol

I am really behind on scrapbooking and would love to get back into but I am finding it hard to make time for my self. Also I havent printed off pictures in forever. But I really want to get back into it so I think I am going to have rob look after the kids for about an hour or so once or twice a week and do some scrapbooking:)

My cricut machine is collecting dust Sad

Anyone else out there into crafts or anything?

I used to love doing it, but now that I'm pretty much broke all of the time I can't buy the stuff to do them! I haven't even gotten Trystan's baby book yet!

Ya, money is the craft killer Sad I am lucky though I got a $50 gift card to Micheals so I am going to by some must have stuff. But I have a bunch of paper and stuff from awhile ago so I should be set for a bit.

Now all I have to do is clean off my scrapbook table. lol. thats a chore in itself as everything gets piled on the desk as I havent used it in a very long time.

Ugh, I still haven't bought a baby book either! Thanks for reminding me Krystal.....I should do that this week!

It is so much harder to do things like baby books, scrapbook, and take photos when you've got big kids running around!

Oy. My first 7 kids have beautiful baby books. Number 8 has a book that is done until she was 2, number 9 has a book that hasn't been opened and number 10 - Nicholas doesn't even have a book Sad I feel like such a crappy mama... I know that I have to do it, it has been weighing on me. Also, they love their books ( the older kids) so i know I HAVE to get back into making my last 3 kids' books! I think I will go order a boo for Nick now! Thanks for the nudge!!!

Ummm....I have Carter's baby book and it is sitting here in a basket, barely filled out. I need to get on the ball! And the only pics I have of him are on my phone. How bad is that?!

This is so funny! I was actually feeling guilty last night because Laszlo's book is almost blank (but it isn't like I just waste time sitting around eating bonbons, either).

But I did order this one:

the price is right at 13 bucks and I couldn't be happier with it Smile

It sure is. With a definite emphasis on the birth - 1 year.

I know! But we have done for the other kids up to 5 years ( just Bday pics from years 3 and on) so i just have to continue. My advice for any new moms is to just do the 1 year one, so it is easier later on when you have more kids Biggrin

I went out today and bought one - it goes to 3 years but I'm happy with it. Time to start filling it in!
