Spotting

Just went to the restroom and saw that I am spotting a little. I know this is normal but along with the discharge I'ved had today, I'm a little freaked out. The nurse advisor at my OB's office said there is nothing to worry about.. but being my first baby it's scary. I just need to breath...

After a crazy day of running around.. I went to the bathroom and I'm spotting even worse now. No cramps, but it looks like the beginning of my period would look. What is normal spotting and when should I start to panic? I'm down for the rest of the day.. so I'm happy about that. Have my first "intake" appointment on Tuesday, so I'm hoping they can give me some reassurance.

TRY not to worry too much. Yeah, right, easier said than done. But really, spotting is completely normal. Are you cramping?
Relax, lay on the couch and veg if you can. The first trimester is hard on a mom's nerves. I called my doctor ALL the time when I was pg with my son with every worry. He actually told me that I should relax and have a glass of wine! LOL!!!

What could it be from? Did you have sex recently? Try to take it easy as much as you can.

I understand your anxiety about spotting. It's hard but try to relax. Sending you "stop spotting" vibes. Smile

I am so very sorry you are spotting...I too understand the stress of it - even though so many people with healthy PG's spot. I hope you don't see it again!! Good luck!!

Thanks ladies! I think it's been a week or two since we last had sex. I think the problem is I am super stressed out at work. 3 1/2 more weeks til things calm down. I just come home and try to chill out. And really trying not to be the worry wart that I am genetically predisposed to be. LOL

Hope it stops soon! But do call your doc office and bother them, that is what they are there for!

Thanks everyone for the support! Happy to say that as of late last night.. we are all clear. And the cramping seems to have ebbed.

When the advice nurse called me from the doc's office, I kept apologizing for overreacting. She just laughed and said call whenever you need to.. that's why we are here. So comforting!
