Uterus size?

For those of you who have had your babies (particularly in the last week of October) can you still feel your uterus? If so, how big and how hard is it? Is it tender to touch?
Just curious because apparently mine isn't shrinking back to normal size.

I'm 3w4d pp and can't feel my uterus anymore. No uterine pain or discomfort, either. How many days pp are you? You may want to call your OB to rule out infection or retained placenta. How's your bleeding going? Mine is pretty light and brownish but I'm still wearing the big pads because they cushion my hooha when I sit which is still mildly sore from the tear.

I haven't had this one yet, but I have had three other babies and I have to say after the first week everything was pretty much back to normal... and it was NEVER sore. I would definitely call your OB just to be on the safe side.

No idea, haven't given it a passing thought or poke. Nurse did a good painful check before I left the hospital. She had me feel but I couldn't really tell what I was poking back then either. Felt painful contractions during my first nursing session but other than that nada (course I've been on the advil/tylenol alternates for my tear though). Nurse said don't hold your pee, go even if you don't feel like you have to... that was about it for advice re: uterus I think. Check in with your doctor or public nurse just to be sure Smile

nak couldn't type this all out yesterday, but here is the whole situation.
I had a c/s. after the c/s I had pit. first week I was in the hospital, I saw the hospital mws and obs daily. mw and ob had commented on my uterus still being larger than it should be.
bleeding was about like average af, with my first 2 pp bleeding had been a bit heavier. I thought maybe they had cleaned things out really well. bleeding had pretty much tapered off by the time I came home this time (first time I bled consistently for 6 wks, then was done. 2nd time it was off and on for 8wks.)
this 2nd wk home the mw visited every day. she also said it was big, but thought it could be due to this being 3rd pregnancy and 3rd c/s. (I wasn't too concerned bc I think I have a big uterus bc last pp time my other mw had also told me it was big, but never did anything for it.) i started accupuncture every other day to reduce its size. she also gave me pp exercises to do (i don't think they do this in USA? long thing shortened, all mws give all women these exercises. it wasn't bc of my situation)It still wasn't as small as it should be, but it was getting smaller.
10 days pp I had my stitches out by the ob. he did a manual check and an u/s bc it was still big. He said there was a blockage in there. He opened things up and stretched it out a bit. Then I got a shot of pit.
a week later (17days pp) I came back for a check up. it was still big. the blockage could still be seen on the u/s so he gave me another shot of pit.
that day I feel really ill. I felt like I had food poisoning or something. On a whim, I got my husband to call the ob and ask if that was a side effect. I was told to come in immediately. it was something to do with the blockage not coming out and contractions. the ob had to open things up again, this time horribly uncomfortable.
the mw hasn't noticed a change in my uterus since then, but wants to wait a week, then have me go back to ob.
I go through bouts of "it's nothing." to paranoia! I was hoping by asking you guys would say, no I still feel mine Lol and then the mw and the ob are just used to some other urerine standard.
