Weight watchers

I'm starting tomorrow. I have sixty pounds or so to lose (I'll weigh in tomorrow and find out!!) but am going to concentrate on ten at a time. I don't have the cash to go yo meetings but I have all the literature and am ready to do this. Anyone care to join me? I can post daily health goals and we can
post if we did them. I'll make them easy and attainable. For example, eat three different colors of fruits and vegetables, exercise fifteen minutes, drink two liters of water etc. Maybe a daily habit? Mondays we work on one thing, Tuesdays another?

Anyways if there are three or four people interested I'll take charge to motivate you! It's not just limited to those wanting to lose, but to anyone wanting to be a bit healthier.

I would love to join - but I need to have the kiddo first Smile I've never done weight watchers but after Evan I was really dedicated to weighing myself once a week (no more no less, every Friday I weighed myself and wrote it down) and getting in a good eating/exercise routine. I know i'll need more motivation this time b/c I'll have 2 kids. So I would love to join but I have to have the baby first Smile

I can't diet until this baby comes either, but I wanted to wish you good luck anyway!! I'm going to be doing Atkins right after delivery, as that works best (and the quickest) for me! I lost 60 lbs last year on this, and obviously have gained half of it back with this baby! I can't wait to get back on it and look hot again lol!

i'm in once the baby comes too! i have gained around 45 lbs this pregnancy

i'll be training for a marathon and need to get back into shape. plus, eating well and exercising can only be a good thing when it's the winter and you've got a toddler and a newborn in the house!

Just make sure you are following the plan for nursing moms, you need to eat more then if you are not nursing. My "brat" of a niece gained 90lbs with her twins and at her 6 week check-up was 4 lbs below her pre-pregnancy weight!!! Now you see why I call her a brat! She was nursing twins but still...

brat is right!!

i'm one of those people who holds on for dear life to extra weight when breastfeeding. when i finally stopped bf'ing DS at 20 months i lost almost 7 lbs in like 2-3 weeks!

yes, you do need to eat more when bf'ing - my problem is that doesn't mean i need to eat enough extra for two people! you only need like 300-500 more calories a day! and i was eating way more than that!

i'm looking forward to getting my butt back in gear once i'm all healed up. i've done so poorly with the eating this pregnancy.

I'll do weight loss stuff with you Smile My baby is now 1 week old and I have 20 lbs to lose. Taking it ten lbs at a time sounds like a great idea! I don't do weight watchers per say but I do journal everything I eat and track calories. Then when I get my drs okay I'll be starting my exercise program. I can't meet this weeks challenge of 2 fruits 3 veggies a day because i'm not even making it to the store much yet. But I can start my food journal this week Smile So I guess that's my goal for this week. Last week was just to get my milk to come in and be able to walk! LOL. (I had a tubes tied this past week as well..so more sore than normal.) I look forward to having some online buddies to do this with. Oh yeah..my sister is getting married in March. That's kinda my goal date to be back down to my old weight, although I know toning is going to take longer...

I did fruits and veggies yesterday, but even with all the extra you get to eat bfing I went over. I'm back at it today, journalling, drinking water and I even did a twenty minute walk (big for me). My scale is broken so I'm going to go by my last weigh in and then get myself weighed once a week at the baby group at the hospital.

I may join you as well. I love WW. I am now 5lbs below my pre-preg weight..I only gained 13 pounds during the PG. But I would like to loose another 25 pounds or so..that I have before I got PG. I will pully out my WW stuff and maybe get on track. Great idea.
