WHINING thread!

I saw that December had one of these going - I think we need one, too! We're in the final stretch! What is BUGGING you all???

-------

My body constantly pretends to be going into labor, but I'm pretty sure I'll be pregnant forever. I'm 38 weeks, but I wouldn't be surprised if I were the last on the board to deliver. Hell, I bet half of December will deliver before me!

I went to sleep last night to inconsistent but uncomfortable & long contractions. I woke up this morning to very intermittent but uncomfortable, long contractions. I walked over a mile to this huge flight of stairs to try and encourage this pattern. Of course they stopped - All that stupid exercise and walking stairs and all I got was sweaty.

I haven't had a dilation check since I was 1.5 at 36 weeks, but considering I've lost two huge chunks of mucus since then (one of which was bloody), I'm probably at least a 2 or 2.5. I doubt my midwife would be willing to do a stretch & sweep at my appointment on Thursday, but I'm going to beg anyway.

When was the bloody one? That usually means 24-48 hours! My water broke 12 hours after my bloody show, just saying!

My whine? I can't sleep waiting for something to happen. No contractions but the pressure is BAD. Hoping to last til tomorrow at least so I can get the last stuff checked of my list.

I'm fed up and yet not ready. Total oxymoron, emphasis on the moron.

Heartburn. Reflux. That is more uncomfortable than my preeclampsia! I can only eat a few bites at a time before I feel so full. Then I get this awful reflux where I can literally feel my food coming up my throat. This is followed by horrible heartburn. Not to mention I get so hungry but these symptoms are making me avoid food...then I get sick from an empty stomach. It is a vicious cycle!

Jasmine.....you could always hook up to your pump.....I know you didn't want to yet but it might help get things going.

My whinge: I'm over my body cleaning itself out! I hate having to go to the loo multiple times a day for #2's, I don't know what's worse - constipation or verging on diarrhea!

@ Carrie - the bloody show was on Saturday! Who KNOWS what is going on with me at this point! I understand what you mean about the whole contradiction - I'm both totally bored and can't think of anything but BABY.

@ Nicole - they say cleaning out is a very good sign! I remember predicting on facebook weeks ago that you and Jenni would likely go before me. Looks like that might be the case!

@ Jenni - I'm sorry about the heartburn! You are almost there! And regarding the pump, I just might!

My stomach feels like it is going to split apart!! And the itching is driving me crazy!!!!!

I am also not happy about being dilated only a finger tip after my appt yesterday after all the contractions I have been having! Esp after they got as close as 3 min apart last Thursday!!!!

Jasmine- wow, mucuos plug for me was always a sign that the baby was coming. MAybe Laszlo is too comfy in there?

Carrie- I know what you mean, either let's get this show on the road. Or wait a while as I get through this and that... I bet you are ready to go though!

Jenni- you poor thing! I hate heartburn. I hope it goes away soon as Carter drops.

Nicole- at least diarhea is a sign! Sorry that it is making you miserable!

I'm so huge, I can't breathe! I eat for...like twenty and it's all ending up on my arse, tighs, sides... but I just feel so achy that I eat junk to comfort myself... vicious cycle.
I am going in today for a pelvic check. I wonder if I am dialated?

I am exhausted. totally. like I don't sleep at night, but I do. I wake up probably every 45 minutes to an hour. My house is a mess. I have pain in my cervix area, but baby is still up high. All I want is an apple and a glass of fresh apple cider (I live in NY, and we have amazing apples this time of year!!), but can't have it because my sugar would get all sorts of crazy. My son and husband have a cold, and I am feeling like I am getting it. Sad

Still pregnant! Went on the bumpiest tractor ride ever (they changed the route!) and nothing, nada, zip, zilch!!! I rushed to get everything ready and now nothing. I hate waiting, and I hate feeling like she's going to fall out any minute!!

Hip pain is keeping me up at night, but mostly it is my kids that are driving me nuts. Their Dad has been on business trips for 4 of the last 5 weeks, and they have stopped listening to me & are totally hyper and wild. Oh, and my DS that just turned 3 started hitting people in the last week and yesterday pushed another kid off a tall stack of haybales at the pumpkin patch. Fortunately his mom caught him, but I am going crazy trying to get him to stop being aggressive with other kids! My other son never did any of that!

OK, exhausted vent over. Smile

I don't know what I did to my lower back but it pinches constantly! It's really uncomfortable. And I want to try and walk daily but man it hurts!

Sigh I'm only 35 weeks tomorrow.....5 more weeks....I'm REALLY hoping my body will go at 38 or 39 but realistically I think I feel BETTER than I did with DS#1 and I went 40 w 3d with him. Sigh.....

Aside from the assortment of sickness in my house, my biggest complaint right now is how LOW baby is! I seriously can't comprehend how far he has dropped. It is so uncomfortable!

I really need a good sleep. On Saturday night when DH and the kids are gone I'm going to take a Tylenol PM. I need a solid sleep, or I will fall apart.

Awww Jasmine, that's just because this is your first! I felt the same way that you did at this stage with my first baby, that I would be pregnant for eternity, and that the pain would never end! I felt that way up until the back labor started, then I kinda wanted to just stay pregnant instead of dealing with those lol!

My whining: my HB is outta control! This baby hasn't dropped yet, so even a few bites of something makes it flare up, and it comes and goes for hours, even popping TUMS like skittles! My back is totally killing me, and to make matters worse today my right hip is aching, so I feel like I'm 85 years old!

OK, my DS is still battling diarrhea!!! It's been off and on since last Friday, so I was hoping we're at the tail end. If he doesn't start having solid poops by tomorrow night, he will have to stay home from his trip with DH this weekend!

THAT WILL TOTALLY MESS UP MY WEEKEND ALONE!!!!!!

I can't be sending a 2 year old with watery diarrhea in a car for 6 hours. This is so unfair. I'll have to keep him home with me and I've got so many things planned for my weekend! I'm cooking freezer meals all day Saturday, I've got a meeting on Sunday, the spa on Monday for my massage and pedi......

PLEASE PLEASE GET BETTER!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry about the HB, Krystal! Have you tried taking probiotics? I only pay 7 bucks for a bottle of 90 in the natural foods section of my Fred Meyer's, and I swear they CURE the burn.

Sandra, I feel for you. If I weren't like a million miles away and a million months pregnant, I'd offer to watch Eli for you on saturday! I REALLY hope he gets better for you, so you can enjoy that anticipated night's rest.

Oh Sandra I REALLY hope he gets better!!! WAhhhh toast, apple sauce, rice fill him up with things that bind LOL

I haven't had the intense HB this time, wonder if it's b/c he's lower? But my back is KILLING me! Hauling around a nearly 2 year old isn't helping that

I have another UTI and last night off and on he was wriggling around at the lowest pint of my pelvis like in my bladder, lol!
Oh, and despite the fact that I am measuring on target, none of my elastic pant thingees will stay up anymore and none of my shirts are long and I feel like my belly is naging out when I am in public:p

Well, he had 5 runny poops today. I saw that Dr. Sears recommends white grape juice as the only good juice to drink with diarrhea, so we picked some up. And he ate rice for supper, and a banana. It's a good thing he likes rice and bananas or the BRATY diet would be out! Hope to get some yogurt in him before bed.

Just keeping my fingers crossed........

I hear you on the HB! Even though baby has definitely dropped, I still get HB at night before bed.
