I'm mad at the Wondfo tests. ROFL There's no evap or anything to get my hopes up! It's stark white. I miss the dollar tree tests where you could at least see the indent and wonder!

Amber, I'm a photographer (and BTW, shooting newborns right now is killing me, lol!! I love snuggling those sweet babies, but it's making me anxious!). I already have an iMac, but I wanted this to be able to edit on the couch or in bed and I also travel for sessions (I actually have 2 newborns in May in Maryland), so I figured this would be better than bringing up my 21.5" iMac, lol!

CrescentMoonMama~that's the worst!! When we were actually trying for #3 (before my m/c), I had a crap ton of internet cheapies that I used the heck out of!

No, they have them but I bought 25 of the Wondfo's that I feel I need to use up first. If I see anything remotely positive on them I'll probably spring for a digital (or two!)

Well, i LOVE wondo- for that reason, its stark stark stark white as a neg, so if you see any glimmer of anything it's usually a pos!!!

Funny enough, I found a dollar tree test in a garbage can in a room at work last week!! Is it bad that I read it, and pretty sure itw as a light positive, and then I went on the computer to see who was in those rooms, and narrowed it down to three people?? I'm such a sneak!!!! hahhahah, now Im anxious to see if one of those three turn out preggers!! Its funny because one is the daughter of a lady I work with!!
Lots of photographers on these boards!! Wish some of you lived closer- I want a new girl!! :):)

What kind of work do you do that people take pregnancy tests AND DON'T SAVE THEM TO PEER AT LATER? Biggrin

Haha, I would have done the same thing Cait! I hope you find the culprit!!

I need to earn a pencil, a crown will have to wait much later. I used to post a LOT on preg.org a couple years ago but I forgot what my username was and that was 2 email addresses ago. Dang...

We are thinking about switching to apple computers. I'm only a hobbyist photograher, but I have a pretty heavy duty camera that needs more than my current 6 year old PC can do. Editing my personal pictures is a HUGE chore, it takes 9 years to upload my cards and preview my images, let alone edit them. Hate it!

This morning I woke up and just about threw up... was able to stop myself though. Kinda queezy the rest of the morning, but ok. I got my first craving... GREEN GRAPES lol. I am in a really good mood today. Went and took my 2 little kids to meet up with a friend and her son for lunch, some time to play, and then did a little bit of shopping. I feel the need to be really girly right now for some reason. I am looking forward to getting some light cottony dresses for this summer... just need to figure out where they are cheap. Also, I feel like I dont want to deal with anyone's bs right now... Mood roller coaster anyone? lol

I shoot with a 5dmkII. I started out with the original Rebel and shot that thing to death, it died after a year. Then I upgraded to a 30D which worked great for 3 years, I had to nurse it along for another 1.5yrs until we could swing the 5D. But boy was it ever worth it! Eventually I would like to turn it into a business, but for now I am enjoying it as a hobby. I want to make sure I know EVERYTHING there is to know about photography/processing/printing before I market myself as a "professional." No half-butt effort from this girl! Wink

A MAC would make such a HUGE difference for me. But I also want a new white leather couch for our modern-ish living room. The fugly hunter green handmedown we've been making do with needs to go!! Decisions decisions!!Why can't I live in a perfect world and have both!?

What do you shoot with?

Amy, I shoot with a Nikon D700 (LOVE). And I think you are doing the right thing by not rushing into business. It's not the most fun thing to be a business owner, but I love what I do!

Amber, I know on the weather!! It was in the 80's today and I can't believe it! I just can't wait until I can open my pool back up!!

I need a new computer. Lol. Mine just keeps shutting itself down randomly. DH has a new laptop of course. Lol. He's a computer guy though so it's sort of a necessity for him.

Omg I felt so bad today! I thought I was doing good at first. I woke up and took a phenergan then made myself eat some crackers then went back to bed. Nasty metallic taste in my mouth so I chewed gum and tried to sleep a little more. I finally gave up and got up and ate breakfast even though I didn't want to but once I started eating I was starving. Nausea didn't hit until about 2:30. I think it's because I fell asleep on the couch and didn't wake up when I should have gotten up to eat. It's like I don't get hungry I just get nauseated instead. It's so annoying. So I spent a good 3 hours lying on the couch pretending to sleep so I didn't have to move. When I got up I tried to clear my throat and I dry heaved a whole lot. I finally managed to get some food in me and felt a little better. I went out to the walking track to walk with DH this afternoon and the fresh air helped. Too many smells in the house. Lol.

Oh and is it normal between 6 and 7 weeks to start feeling a lot of things going on in the uterus? At first I thought it was just cramping but everything just feels sort of heavy and like there's pressure and it's hurting my lower back and everything. I feel kind of like I have sore muscles or something but in an area where I've never had them before. Lol. I hope it's a good thing. I'll be so paranoid until 12 weeks...and probably then too.

Sorry to hear about the morning sickness. It sucks. As for the ligament/uterine pain/discomfort.. I am having the same thing going on. I am only 3 weeks and some odd days (thinking thats off... that I am closer to, if not over, 4 weeks)... but it is my 4th. As long as its not sever pain, and you arent having major bleeding, it sounds pretty normal Smile

So after complaining that the Wondfo tests were just too good (no evaps, no questionable lines, nothing to guess at, and all STARK WHITE BFNs,) last night (after holding my pee for 5 hours) I got a pale pale line on 2 Wondfos. So this morning I expected to see a better line, but stark white again. BOO!!!

Sad Is it a blue dye test, or a pink? Blue dye tests are known for their problems with showing a false light line, as well as evap. lines. Hang in there Smile

I would get a FRER or something that you can feel more confident about. I used the Wondfos for a while and I always felt like there was a line there but I may have gotten a bad batch. I haven't been treated so good by the cheapie tests but of course the more expensive ones I had great results with. Lol. Good luck! I hope it's just too early to show up and that you really are pregnant!

So, I got a really cute "big sister" shirt the other day at st. v's for my DD. Both DDs have big brothers shirts already. I go to take a picture of them all together with my phone, and they wont hold still long enough to get a good shot... I am getting pissed about not having a working camera. I was really hoping to get a picture of them all together to play around with and then print out announcements for our family once we are ready to tell people. My husband is procrastinating on ordering a new charger for our camera... The one he bought for like a buck on line doesnt work, and the other one, from the company, is like $30. Ugg.

oh, and I must just say how georgous it is outside here today!!! I was outside with my DH and kids, loving it, when all of a sudden I felt like I was going to throw up. So, now I am relaxing inside.

I bet they look adorable in their shirts!!! My kids never sit still for long enough to get a nice pic either, so I know the feeling! We got up to about 65 here today and I am not complaining in the least! I work a 12 hr shift tomorrow but I am taking my client bowling and our company throws a bday party each month for the clients that have a bday, so hopefully my day will go by quickly!

I would get them in place, they would be smiling nice, then it would take forever for my phone to click the picture... someone would turn their head, move so they were blurry, and so on. A friend of mine is a photographer at sears portrait. I am debating on seeing if she could bring her camera over, or just going to the studio... though I cant see spending a bunch on one picture. Especially since we do yearly family pictures in the summer. Also, I am hoping to do Maternity pics this time around, seeing as it will be our last baby. I did one with DS#1, tried to with DS#2 but DS#1 was in a bad mood the day we went in, and then I had DS#2 early before we got the chance to go back. Then, with my DD I just never got around to it Sad

I never did maternity pics (besides some really bad ones I had a friend snap of me with DD#1), but I am doing them this time. I'm in a local photog group, so I'm thinking of offering myself up, lol! Plus I have a photog friend who wants to do a fair themed session, so I am going to "help" her out with that in September, lol!

That sounds like fun Smile I really want to get one of all three kids hands on my belly (probably in september also). Then with DD looking into my belly button, or with her hand on my belly looking up at me... and a bunch of other ones Smile

When I got pg a few months ago, I got a really really light line on wondo- and so I got my hopes up, next morning, stark white, so i was like DANG it must of been my mind, or evap, or IDK, well then I waited two days and tested again, and..BFP!! So hang in there!! I really think that if you see something on a wondo- it's there!!

Sorry to hear that!

Wondfo was a pale line for my BFP. I tested that night with a FRER and the FRER was SO SO SO SO SO much darker. I had first tested a few days previous and had gotten a BFN with wondfo and I bet I would have gotten a positive with FRER it was so dark and immediate. My favorite cheapies are Dollar Tree, it's what I used with DS. Never an evap and it was dark at the same time as the FRER. Smile

We told our families tonight. We skyped my ILs, FaceTimed my SIL, and then sent pics to my family (mom, dad, sister). They're all very excited of course. What did they see? Why a onesie that I painted myself this morning! Lol

Awww that's too cute! Most everyone knows for us except my DH's mom and her family, only because if we told any of them they couldn't keep a secret. Lol. Well his aunt knows but she had a lot of trouble with all three of her kids so she knows what it means to keep a secret. She knew we were trying too though and was a huge comfort through all of this. I'm having a harder and harder time keeping this a secret. Part of it is the excitement, and part of it is that I feel awful and it's hard to fake feeling good. It's not nearly as exhausting when I don't have to pretend. Lol. I asked DH if he wanted to go ahead and tell his mom and he said "Well I never tell her anything, I just usually answer if she asks." Haha. So it looks like we'll just wait until after we see the heartbeat which should be on Thursday if things go right. I'll be almost 8 weeks then so we really should see it. I was only 5 weeks 5 days last ultrasound. Thursday so can't get here fast enough. AHHHHHHHH!

That is so cute. I get what you mean about it being hard not to tell people Leah. Luckily my mom is out of town right now... I have a feeling that she will catch on when I see her again... lol. Right now DD and I are up at my sister's. She had all of my books and stuff, so I had to tell her. Today we went shopping and I found a really cute sheer shirt for cheap at motherhood. I was looking at shorts for this summer, seeing as I already am having issues with my pants pushing on my belly... Just makes me uncomfortable. Didnt really find any that I loved that was priced right... Going to check out good will. I just cant see spending all tha much for clothes for my last pregnancy. The only thing that sucked about going to the mall were the smells. Just walking past bath and body works made me feel ill. My symptoms are defiitly getting more and more pronounced. After the mall my sister, her friend, and I took the kids for a walk. The smell of dead fish coming off the water was gross, but other than that it was a nice walk. Now, I so need a nap. Not sure if DD will let me. Hoping to talk my sister into keeping an eye on her so I can snooze a bit.

The way we tell people are by who would we want to know (aka get support from) if we were to miscarry at that point. As I get farther along I tell more and more people until I have a 2nd tri appointment and we will tell the whole world then. Though we find it pretty easy to keep it from people because DH is military and we don't live near our friends and extended family. lol.

I have a friend who just had a Dec baby who is sending me a few maternity items next week including those belly sleeves. I couldn't zip my pants at all by 9-ish weeks with DS, so I have a feeling I'll be there soon this time. Eek!

From my experiance, you do show sooner and sooner. With my first I "poppedz" at 20 weeks, though I had started wearing maternity pants at 8 weeks because anything pushing too much on my belly made me so sick. With my 2nd, I "popped" at 15 weeks, but had been wearing maternity pants since 6 weeks. With my 3rd it was at about 10 weeks. I have a bellly band keeping my pants up right now... It'll be interesting to see how soon I really start showing this time. Thats why I think I wont have a choice but to tell people sooner than later.

We've pretty much been telling too by who we could stand to tell if I miscarried. We're totally saving MIL for last, poor thing, but she'll drive us INSANE! She has this thing about not believing in spending money...basically she's cheap like in a complains about a $1 deal at Mcdonalds kind of way. Lol. So I can just see it now. Her going to yard sales and trying to force us to use a crib that's falling apart and things like that. This is our first so we feel like anything we get can be an investment for future babies and we're not going to go insane buying things we may not need and are definitely careful with our money but yeah...she'll drive us nuts. We just live down the road from her. Right now she pretty much ignores us but she won't then. Haha.

I'm 7 weeks today and my stomach is huge! Feels huge anyway! I should take a pic soon. I went from still being pretty flat stomached at least in the morning just two or three days ago to being unable to wear my normal pants. I really thought this would happen later and I figured it was just bloat but my stomach is really firm where the pooch is. I definitely don't look pregnant at all, just like I've gained a few pounds which thankfully I haven't but I definitely look bigger.

I think as long as we see the hb this week at the ultrasound we're going to go ahead and tell everyone we come into direct contact with because it's just getting so hard to hide. I'm so superstitious though it makes me nervous to tell before 12 weeks.

I'm doing good Smile Just got back from the store. Got some groceries, which includes some watermellon which I've been wanting so bad. As well as some more vitamins. I'm going to start taking Vit. B6, to help keep the sickies away, as well as fish oil, for more omega 3 for the baby's brain development. Hoping that with all of these supplements, and yummy good food, this will be one happy, healthy, beany baby Smile

My son decided sleeping wasn't on the agenda last night, so I'm exhausted and have a headache! Really looking forward to his nap time later! Sadly I won't be able to sleep, I'll use it to call providers an hour away hoping to find someone who will do a VBAC.

Hope your phone calls go well and you can find someone right away and get a nap in too! My baby has been sleeping on the couch since 8:15 this morning and as of almost 11:30 still is!!

I taught prek for the afternoon today and I'm worn out. It really has nothing to do with them though since they just played outside and then napped while I was there so I didn't actually do any teaching today. I went ahead and told all the prek teachers that I was pregnant cause I'm wearing such weird clothes. Lol. One of them knew already and they actually applauded they were so excited. Haha. I'm really doing terrible at keeping this a secret. I really hope I'm not jinxing my appointment on Thursday but there's really no indication of any kind that things aren't right on track. Ugh I just have to wait through 2 more days and then we'll know more. I'm going to go nuts! I think it's time for a baked potato and a nap...baked potatoes, potato salad, french fries (which I'm not letting myself have)...potatoes are killing me. I want them all the time!

My kids took a very short nap today. Ugg. I spent it eating something (since I hadnt had lunch yet) and looking up baby names. Its crazy how more and more difficult it is to find something you and your DH can agree on. With the last 3 names we ended up going with something that my husband picked that we both could agree on. I only find it fair that this time I get to pick out names and he finds one he can agree on lol
