Thread: 13 week appt

WEnt great today! Heard the hb. In the 150's. That was my fear. Talked about alot of stuff from what Ican do afterward since this is our last and when I suspect to schedule the c section, etc. I had some testing done for the first tri but they can't give me and u/s cause of no appt available and I'm almost out of the window for the time they need. My next appt I'l be 19 weeks 1 day. But the weird thing is no u/s was scheduled. So who knows. But I was happy to hear the hb today

gained 2.6lbs....i would have thought 10! lol!

Glad you had a great appt! Do you think not scheduling an anatomy scan was an oversight? I might call to make sure, since they couldn't fit you in for te genetic screening u/s. I'd hate for your other scan to be pushed back too far because they messed up.

Ummm...they can't send you somewhere else for the needed u/s for the testing? And no appt for 6 weeks too? How busy is this place?! lol.

Wow, that is a long time between appointments... I drive myself crazy waiting 4 weeks. Lol.

You guys are right. I did ask if there was another place to go to and they told me only one place is the valley here does it. I told them I am from the Bay area and work there and comute there everyday but I think the med assistant was annoyed cause she was training and just wanted me out of there. I'll email my doc to see what they say. I am off fridays so that could be why the long stretch but I'm gonna tell her I can go any day for that. My boss is cool like that when it comes to that stuff. I am driving myself crazy with these appts. For this genetic testing I was to be seen between 10- 15 weeks. They scheduled this appt and knew I'd be 13 weeks then kind of made it my fault that I waited. So I told the med asst, "you were the one who made this appt for me when I was 7 weeks along, I just showed up." She had nothing to say for that. This is Kaiser so enough said right? LOL!

I hope you get a good response back from your doctor. If you're already having issues now what's going to happen later in the pregnancy? That would be my concern!

Theres got to be another place. I mean the Bay Area is no small area. We've got hospitals galore!
