Thread: 36 week check up

Went this morning for my 36 week appt. She did my GBS test and checked my cervix. I'm 1 cm, 50% effaced, and baby is head down, but still up high. I was 2 cm at this point in my second pregnancy, so I'm a little surprised that I'm only 1, especially with all the pressure and sharp pains in my cervix I've been having. I'm on to weekly appts finally, so now I'm feeling like it's getting a lot closer and feels more real. I'm so excited to meet this baby!

Sounds like a good appt to me! There is definitely something about moving to weekly appts that makes you think "wow, I really am almost done!"
