Thread: Ahhhhhh!! (Facebook Group)

My MIL just called and said that she saw that I joined the November 2012 babies group on Facebook and was wondering if the news was out now! I just left the group so hopefully no one else sees it! Just thought I would let you ladies know that it may be a closed group but not "private"!

Yeah that's why I'm not joining any groups until we tell everyone.

I thought it was okay since I didn't see it show up on my page. I started crying when my MIL called because I don't want anyone else to know yet. She and my FIL are the only ones who know so far.

Is there a way to make it private so it doesnt show up on your feed? I know Amber doesnt always get on line with her schedule, but I'm sure if you gave her the heads up on how to do it she'll 'fix' it

It shows up under my groups but I didn't see it in my feed, I wont be posting anything in there until we announce. I wish we could change the name to something else like just take babies off so it only says Nov 2012 - it would make it less obvious.

The only way to make it not show up on your feed when you join or post is to manually delete it from the feed. Its going to show up on your groups no matter what, I think changing the name would probably be easiest (if that's possible).

Amber changed it a couple of hours ago to 'Autumn leaves'

There is a way to make it completely private. I wish it was like that.
