any ideas?

So Gideon has a terrible spit up and apparently a weight gain problem. We had tried every formula but no luck. The Dr said colic and gave us an rx for wic for similac alimentum. Well, not only does his colic seem worse but so does his spit up and he has diarrhea. We have these lactose drops you put in regular formula to help nabies with colic and have tried that for 24 hours and usually he spits up after every bottle and no spit up! I'm so confused. We tried reg and lactose free formula and it seemed to do nothing but now its ok? Wth?!

We give him the powder and main ingredient is corn but the ready to feed is corn free so maybe he has a corn allergy.

He has a doctor appointment today. As the days go by he seems to be getting worse and I just don't know how with him being on hypoallergenic formula. And it seems that he developed thrush Monday night. They're worried about his growth so we purchased a baby scale and according to our scale he is losing weight.

My mom gave me that book with DD when she was a infant.

ugg. I'm sorry you guys are dealing with this. How frustrating. I would def. get him on reflux meds, as well as trying another formula...

The doc doesn't like to put on reflux meds but we got meds for his thrush and apparently he has a corn intolerance so he can only have hypoallergenic ready to feed formula cause it has no corn.

I was going to say see if he will put him on zantac for reflux Sam is on it and has helped a lot. Otherwise if he won't do that the baby upright for awhile after feeding. We do that with Sam along with one side of his mattress elevated.

In terms of formula, Sebastian was on nutramagen (so?) for while with his milk sensitivity. Maybe see if you can try that

We tried nutrimagen but it has corn as well so alimentum ready to feed is all he is allowed.
