I take Tums for gas. It's very mild and safe for pregnancy, plus it has added calcium. Sorry you're dealing with this! Sad

Are you constipated at all?

Depends on the tea how pregnancy safe it is and how comfortable you are with caffeine.

I had some problems with gas pains/ intestinal cramps before I got pregnant that would bring me to my knees and one of the best things that seemed to help was a warm heating pad (make sure it's not too warm) and place it on the area with the most pain and just sleeping it off. Also going for a walk or taking a warm shower seemed to help loosen things up and make me feel better. Luckily I haven't experienced them at all yet since I've become pregnant but I'm anticipating it happening. I hope you feel better soon!

Good advice, this is what I did with DD. I also find that hot water and lemon juice really helps too.

GL I know how awful gas pain is, I hope it doesn't bother you too long!!

i'm not constipated or anything, and i'm not using any caffeine while pregnant, so i'll stay away from that.

i think i'm going to try the hot water and lemon next time - it sounds like what id be most comfortable with.

thanks for the suggestions Smile
