Thread: Appt Update (Ultrasound included)

Everything looks good. My OB did an ultrasound to check for twins, and there is just 1 in there. Still too early to find out the baby's sex. Too hard to tell the baby's sex.... though she did look

Glad you were able to dispel the twin worries! Such cute u/s pictures! Bummer its still to early to find out the gender but it is a good excuse for another u/s

lol. I have one at 20 weeks either way for the anatomy scan. This was just an unofficial one, off the books, to just peek and count

What a great pic, too bad they wouldn't even give you a guess as to what they thought the gender was. I actually looked back at u/s from DS and found out that they told me at 14 weeks with him via a 2d u/s. I was way confused by that because I was sure no tech in their right mind would tell you the sex that early but the date is on the u/s to prove it so it must be.

Glad you know that you do only have one!!!

My OB is the one that did the ultrasound. She said at this point in development it all looks too similar... could you post a pic of your ultrasound from 14 weeks with DS???

Thanks. Not that Twins would be the end of the world... but with my history of pre term contractions, it def. would mean a higher chance of things happening

Glad they could put your mind at ease about twins and you got a peek at baby! What a cutie!

and here is where they pointed out that they thought the gender was a boy, I had it confirmed on 10/30/06 (about 20 weeks) that yes he was a boy. My EDD with him was 3/17/07
