Baby foods

Hey everyone. Now that our babies are at (or past) the 6 month mark who is starting their los on bqby food?

I started giving Kellen baby food, mainly at lunch whenthe other 3 are eating, but he just doeant seem to like it. My other 3 at this age loved eqtibg, but not him. Ive tried different kinds, making sure he is actually hungry, different apoons, making a game of it, but he still isnt too interested. The most hes eaten is about a 10th of a container of pears.

Any ideas? youd think with having 4 that nothing would stump me lol

Just keep at it. Gideon didn't really start eating food till almost 7 months. He just couldn't figure out how to eat it without pushing it all back out his mouth. It took 2 months for him to get it down.

We started baby girl on baby food just over 4 months (doc recommended) but sometimes I wonder if we should have waited a little longer. She ate ANYTHING you gave her at first, veggies, fruits, whatever. Now she's starting to get picky and won't eat anything green at all. The doc suggested table foods so I tried a few things and she refused it and screamed the whole time. Now she'll only eat the "sweet" baby foods. Pretty much any fruit, and for dinner either squash, sweet potatoes, or carrots. Sometimes I can trick her into eating a few bites of veggies before she realizes what I'm doing. Lol. Then I have to switch her to something else or she gets mad. She loves fruit puffs and yogurt too but I'm worried I'll never be able to get her to eat another veggie. We were told to just stick with what she likes for now and to try to work the other stuff back in later. Maybe it's just a phase? Who knows.

Oh and occasionally when she won't eat, DH will eat a tiny bit of her food and then she wants it. Lol.

I think Kellen is going to be the same way. Hes starting to like fruits, the weird thing is that he doesnt like bannanas or applesauce. He'll take them mixed with other fruits, but not by themselves?

We are going to start with Sam soon now that his head control is better. We wanted to wait till he was 6 months corrected but he still had really bad head control. Now after OT and PT and he's 8 months corrected I think we are going to start slowly with him.

Zoe still isn't interested in solids! She's just now in the past two days starting to taste them, but not eat. Since food before one is just for fun I'm not too worried about it yet. She'll get there! We do BLWing, so I'm pretty hands off about it. Smile

Sean is not picky at all about his baby foods, the only major issue were having is moving onto table foods. I thought by nine months he'd be ready but he's not... AT ALL. He chokes on everything more than stage two baby food.
