Default Belly bandit or Perfect Waist Squeem or .... reviews please?

    Already thinking postpartum...

I just read about a belly bandit while lurking. Anybody ever used one of these or something similar postpartum? I did not use anything after my other pregnancies (both ended up being c-sections) but might be interested now. I do not want to have to buy multiple sizes and want to pick one out that has some decent reviews. The reviews on Amazon depend on which belly bandit you get.

Or is there something else you have used temporarily and love?

I'm interested in getting something like that this time around, too, but am feeling clueless about which to choose. I'll look forward to hearing what others have used and liked!!

I've been interested in this as well. I have heard just getting a large (wide) ace bandage work's well too. I'm going to try that for the first few weeks, and then might go and purchase another type of binder because they are sized and I am afraid I'll get the wrong size.

This is my 3rd c-section and my stomach muscles have separated a lot this time, so I am going to need all the help I can get.

I usually get one at the hospital. We'll see if I do this time. I didn't wear it a lot last time, it was uncomfortable. It wasn't an actual belly bandit though. They are discussing them over on the sept 2012 board!

Any abdominal binder should work and for cheaper. I used one I got off of Amazon for cheap after DS. It didn't fit the first few days, but afterwards it did and felt great. AFter a couple of weeks I was smaller than it got. It helped me feel more put together after my c/s. I also went down A LOT those 2 weeks. I wasn't in my little post partum pants afterwards, but I was just one size up afterwards. I just needed to loose weight naturally after that to get back into my pants.

I got confused from all the different reviews/ sizes on Amazon and wans't sure what to go with! LOL! I love being able to look at reviews but I read way too much into them. I am too cheap to buy multiple sizes either.

I didn't know you could get them at the hospital. Will have to check out the Sept board too! Thanks!

UGH, I just typed a responded and it didn't take. Anyway, I got this one off Amazon when I was pregnant with DS5:
Amazon.com: Underworks Post Delivery Girdle Belt - Maternity Belt - Post Natal: Clothing

They do run big so I got the size small (I'm a size 12 pre-preg). It worked well and the price was right(($17). I started wearing ti the morning after I delivered DS5 and wore it pretty much all the time for 2 weeks, only taking it off to shower. It was fairly comfortable and really did help my stomach to go down faster. I was in reg jeans within 10 days of having DS. It did tend to roll up at the bottom after the first week but it still worked well.

I used the "Original" Belly Bandit with my first and loved it. I plan on using the Belly bandit "Bamboo" with this one! My doctor highly recommends the Belly Bandit and no matter the cost, I'M worth it. I believe you are too )
