With each of my pregnancies I've read "What to Expect when your expecting"... my husband always asks why I need to keep reading it everytime, but each pregnancy is different, so info. that may not have been relevent before, may be this time around. Plus, I like to read about whats going on in there
With my last 2 I also read a book called "I'm pregnant"... another really good one.
I also really recommend "Chicken soup for the pregnant woman (or mother's; I cant remember) soul. It is really inspiring, and easy to read... Wishing I could find my copy right now grr.
Today I picked up "What to expect when you're Expected"... its a parody, and is HILARIOUS. Now, remember, its meant to be funny, and not to be taken in any way serious. I'm on page 12 and my husband and I have been rolling on the floor (not literally) laughing.
Another book I found is "The pregnancy countdown book". I like that it gives you something to read each day, and sees to be informative, so far
Also, my husband and I have been listening to "The hunger games"... so far I really like it. Once we are done with it, and the box offices cool down (aka.. its easier to get tickets, and less crowded in the theater) we plan on going to see it... maybe for our anniversary???
I've read "What to Expect When You're Expecting" too. It's still sitting by my bed and I pick it up and read more on it every time that I forget how something works. Lol. DH bought it for me as soon as we found out I was pregnant. I'm also reading "Pillars of the Earth" which is awesome but intense. After that I plan to read "The Help". I listened to it on tape on a road trip but it's seriously cut down to save time so I want to read the book too. After that who knows...maybe the Twilight series again just for comfort. Lol.
I have also read "What to Expect" a few times. Most recently I finished "Miss Peregrine's School for Peculiar Children." It was kind of a fantasy novel, pretty entertaining. Before that I read "The Help" and before that was "The Hunger Games" trilogy. Going to see the movie on Monday, can't wait! Right now I'm reading "The Glass Castle." So far it's really interesting and I like it. I haven't picked it up in a few weeks, though. I need to crack it open again. Also on my bookshelf ready to read are "The Host," and several Gregory Maguire novels, "Captivating," and "Wuthering Heights." I like to read the old classics and that's one I haven't read before. And I much prefer fiction novels to really anything else, if you couldn't tell.
I've never read "What to Expect", though I did read a pg book when I was pg with dd. This time I don't really expect to do that again, though I am reading weekly updates online just to remind myself what's going on in there.
Last weekend I started re-reading Pride and Prejudice, one of my all-time favorite books. I haven't had much time for reading lately, though. I used to be such a bookworm. Oh well, someday I'll get back into it!

Beth you'll love The Hunger Games movie! I saw it today and it was good! I had to pee super bad though like halfway through it and there was no way I was getting out of the theater because of where we were sitting so I just suffered for the rest of it. Lol. It's one of the best book adaptions I've seen I think. "The Host" is great too. I read it a while back and couldn't put it down. It's really different from Stephanie Meyer's other books. They're making a movie out of it too. I guess this is the book to movie era or something. Lol.
I honestly feel that What to Expect is a book of paranoia and is all about big hospital birth, so I think I'm going to give my copy away. I didn't enjoy it last time at all.
I don't plan to read any pregnancy books this time, though I did like Your Pregnancy Week By Week last time.
I'm currently reading Dr Sear's The Discipline Book (real book) and Beyond the Sling (ebook).
Leah, The Host is much better IMO than the Twilight books.
I have several pg books. What to expect ofcourse and how to exercise when you'er expecting. Even though Iknow how to eat right and exercise (the cravings are bad! And the fatigue has hit in big time!) Ijust picked up the hunger games and have barely started pn the first book. Ineed to get more into it,
