cats

I am warning you ahead of time that although every single person I have told about this has laughed hysterically, I was disgusted and mortified.
My cat is about 9 months old. Ever since she was a little kitten, when I go to the bathroom she would crawl into my pants. She did this yesterday and peed in them! -While they were still on my legs no less. I have found that she has since left a small spot on one of my hoodies as well Sad
So, Is this normal for a cat to do during pregnancy? A friend suggested that she is doing it due to my hormones. I love her and really don't want to get rid of her, but if this problem persists, I will have no other option.

Why have you allowed her to crawl into your pants? And yes cats can sense pregnancy. I have two of them and one of them has been super hormonal since I got pregnant. She also was the same way with my first pregnancy, and she has adored my friends when they come over if they're pregnant... normally she goes into hiding.

You can try getting Feliway spray or the plug in. It's a calming pheremone to cats. They sense everything so this may be her and your saving grace.

Is she fixed??? If not, it may be time to get her fixed. The smells you are giving off may remind her of another cat in heat kind of a thing, and she may be trying to mask your sent with hers.

This is what I was wondering. Cats that aren't fixed are certainly different creatures!
