Are you working?: Was until Doc said I shouldn't. Only had 3 days left anyway.

what does it entail:Cervical check, no change since I was in L&D 2 days ago.
Bag packed?: nope
If not, when will you?: today or tomorrow (I've said that everyday this week!)
Any signs of labor?: yes was contracting every 3 mins until L&D stopped them.
What, if anything, are you doing to get things going: Had a subway tuna sandwhich with lots of jalepenos and although I don't want to, I'm asking dh to order pizza tonight! Either way I have 6 days until scheduled c sec.
Anything else you want to add: I want him out now!!! Sad to know this is my last however

Bag packed?:They baby's bag is packed. Unless I have a bad NST I won't pack my bag until the night before my c-section so November 18th

Any signs of labor?:None at all, I sit on the monitors twice a week and I haven't had a single contraction.
What, if anything, are you doing to get things going:nothing
Anything else you want to add:I think I am more excited about going on my maternity leave then anything. I am ready to not have to be at work for a while.

Most recent appt: Last Fri. at 34 weeks
What did it entail: BP, Fundal height, Doppler, flu shot
Next appt: Next Fri, the 26th (36 weeks)
what does it entail: The standard, plus GBS swab, cervical check, baby's position check, and repeat HIV test (Does anyone else have this done twice?)
Bag packed?: No
If not, when will you?: Probably next week. It'll be nice having one less thing to do even though I'm not expecting any early action.
Any signs of labor?: No contractions, but I have been having a lot of pressure with sharp pain down there.
What, if anything, are you doing to get things going: Nothing
Anything else you want to add: I am still soooo tired! I took a 2 hour nap today!

Most recent appt: this past Tue.... Was my 35 week appt
What did it entail: spec exam (didnt actually check me because of the fact that we were concerned that I was starting to rupture), GBS test, heart rate cgeck (baby's), and fundal height check. Now 3-4 weeks behind.
Next appt: this Wed.... 36 week
what does it entail: reg check up, maybe getting checked
Bag packed?: all of them. Ive had wee dudes packed for a while, but got a sudden urge that i had to get mine and DHs done now.

Any signs of labor?: same old same old. Still contracting, sharp pains in my cervix, and more discharge.
What, if anything, are you doing to get things going: nothing. Just no longer too concerned about not doing too much or watching my contractions. Just waiting for the real thing to start at this point.
Anything else you want to add: Im not sure what I did, or if its pregnancy related, but it feels like I pulled my groin muscle gunning down the inside of my right leg. Itstarted yesterday, but is just getting worse. It hurts to walk, to try to lift that leg, and to try to bring my legs together. I have noticed that when i get up to walk i am getting more contractions and sharp pain and pressure in my cervix.

If not, when will you?: I'm going to start working on it this weekend.
Any signs of labor?: I don't think so... a lot of pressure in the evening though.
What, if anything, are you doing to get things going: I don't think I will do too much to purposely start labor
Anything else you want to add: I'm starting to get freaked out about how little time I have before I have to leave town.

What, if anything, are you doing to get things going: not much. Did some walking and tried nipple stimulation.
Anything else you want to add: I have such mixed feelings. Part of me can't wait for this baby to be here but since it's my last one, part of me is a little sad at the pregnancy ending as well.

What did it entail: told my midwife my fears regarding tearing and labor. she talked me through it and said second deliveries are usually half the time and don't usually result in as much tearing. i also had post-partum depression with my first son and we talked about going on zoloft following the birth. i also plan to breastfeed. taking medication has been something i have debated for some time.
Next appt: next thursday

kier, do you think the baby can be putting pressure on a nerve or something? i hope you get some relief.

Thats what they are thinking. I have found some stretching positions that seem to help relieve some, of the pain..gets him to move a bit. So, for now Im just going to have to deal with it till he comes out. Which, im thinking may be sooner than later. We shall see

What did it entail:Measuring my tummy, describing next few appointments, asking if everything was normal. Typical weigh in... I'm not sure I want to know any more.

Anything else you want to add: Just uncomfortable, starting to get hormonal for no apparent reason, panic attacks, lots of on and off nesting...
