    Default Cloth Diapering

Is anyone else plan on doing it? We decided that we are going to cloth diaper with this little one. We are on a budget so we need to save money where we can. Anyways I'm super excited and had to share that I just got a lot of brand new cloth diapers, 25 of them, for $45!!! YAY!!! And I have a few that were handmade for us so in total I have 32 and I think that is enough to last him till potty training. That probably just saved me at least $1000 if not more!

Yep, we CD here! I started CDing DS at 4 months. He's still in them at 20 months. I'll CD this one from birth. My best friend gave me her newborn diapers to use until my son's one size pockets fit (even though they say 'fits from birth to potty training' most one size diapers don't actually fit till 10-12 pounds).
There is a CDing board on here! http://www.pregnancy.org/bulletinboa...loth-Diapering

We started cloth diapering in 2008. I wish I had known about it when I had my first 2 babies, but we have cloth diapered daughters 3&4 since birth. I made most of our diapers and need to refresh the stash a bit. A few of our diapers are ready to be retired! I totally love it!

We switched to cloth a month ago with Ellie. She only stools though (we just empty her urostomy bag into the toilet). We I get multiple uses out of each one just by putting the insert in, rather than stuffing them into the diaper. I am not planning on doing it with this baby though. Organic 'sposies are just way more convenient and I am dealing with enough already!

Count me in! Once we get our taxes back I will be stocking up on a bunch of cloth diapers! So for maybe 4 months we will be dealing with disposables, but after that we will be all cloth! Im super excited to get stocked up and watch the savings roll in!

I started CDing my son at about a year so I have a bunch for that size range but no newborn or infant sizes. I have pre-folds and Bummis/Thirsties covers already and that's what I plan to buy for the smaller sizes too.

We are. I didn't know about CD'ing except the old flat diaper with pins when I had my son. Now I know about the buttons and designs and my friend is making me a whole bunch. I'm super excited. We'll do disposable at night just cause I don't want to be dealing with blowouts in the middle of the night when I'm beyond exhausted already but other than that we're planning on it from the beginning.
