I don't really remember how they feel especially with being induced but I've been walking the past hour around the grocery store and my tummy keeps getting extremely hard and it almost takes my breath away. No crampy feeling but it hurts in my lower back and it isn't letting up. Just BH?
i have no experience with what a contraction or braxton hicks feels like (ive never had the braxton hicks before and this is my first pregnancy), but my mom has told me contractions do feel like your stomach hardening up like that --i don't want to tell you yes or no, or even what to do - but i hope all is well, make sure to update (if you can!) <3
Could be real contractions. I didn't feel that early contractions hurt at all, but they were definitely more noticeable than BH. I had a lot of back pain with mine due to DS facing out instead of in. Hope they putter out with your feet up and drinking some water!

Sounds like contractions to me. Thats how I feel with some of the obes I have been having. Time them whrn you have them. My doc told me if i have more than 6 in an hr (closer than 10 min apart) for over an hr, and they werent stopping with laying down and drinking water, to go in. Hang in there. He will be here before you know it![]()
How nice of them.![]()
Hope they go away and stay gone for just a tad bit longer!
Youre only 2 days away from being 37 weeks. I doubt they would do anything to stop your labor at this point. So if the contractions arent "this is it" contractions yet, they probably arent worth going in for any way. The more prep work your body does now the better. Its gotta start some where![]()
Totally agree...my docs told me they wouldn't stop labor after 34 weeks, so I figure whatever I can get started now is less that has to happen with the time comes, right?? My contractions have definitely picked up, but aren't regular enough once I lay down to rest and drink my water to send me into L&D. But at night, I definitely am having more painful contractions now, ouchie! Baby is getting ready and practicing lots...and I usually get a doozy of a contraction right when I stand up (from either sitting or laying down), it never fails, so I'm getting used to that now, too.
Hope you can get some relief this week!! We're almost there!!
