Creative way to tell DH?

So how did you ladies tell DH about the BFP?

I am looking for some ideas. With #1, I just showed him the digital test. With #2, I wrapped a baby outfit and gave it to him. With #3, I stashed the digital test in a place I knew he would find it first thing in the morning. For #4 I ordered big brother shirts for the boys, and him a mug that said "Dad in 2010", the year the baby was due.

I think this will be our last baby, so I'd like to go out with a bang and do something fun.

I really have no advice for you on this one! I have always tested when DH was home, so he knew right away! Maybe line the kids up with signs and take pics for DH and then show him the photo album of the kids? Like one could hold each word or something? Then as he changes the pages of the photo album he will see he is going to be a daddy again Smile Im not that creative sorry!

Amber- thats a cute idea actually!!

Im no help either, with DS I wasn't really creative because I was in shock.
WIth the next pregnancy, I cant even really remember how I told him now, odd that I can't remember- ended in M/C.
This time around- I was GOING to do something really cutesy on valentines day- but then the doc called the day before and said my numbers looked too low- so I just LOST it and blabbed too him before I had another M/C.. argh!!
So, hopefully theres a NEXT time so I can do something cute..

I love the buns in the oven thing!! It's so cheesey but I think it'd be so cute to put buns in the oven, either too many or say something about there's still one bun left in the oven-

A photo album would be cute, one of each kid and then maybe a space left that says coming in november or something, or a picture of your belly, IDK.

I really want to tell family in a cute way, like at easter next month and hide something in an egg and something about 7 more months until it hatches, IDK, i'm not the best with suprises so I'll prob just blab it in some dumb way!!

I am thinking about sending this: http://www.cookiesbydesign.com/gift-baskets/baby-gifts/pregnant

The only issue is my oldest (age 7) would probably figure it out. We don't necessarily want him to know because we can't expect him to keep a secret.

Edit: I think I've decided. We have a local bakery that will make personalized cookies.
I think I'll get each of us one, with our initials on it. MSN, JBN, WCN, JMN, THN, JMN, then an extra with the intials TBD. That way DH will figure it out, but my kids probably won't!

Now to just get a BFP!

Baby 1 I just shoved the test at him and said "do you know what this means"?

Baby 2 - I don't remember (m/c)

Baby 3 I had my son where a big brother t'shirt.

This time I called him and cried lol.

I like album idea. I did a card for my patents. My sister used an outfit that she gave me for my birthday when announcing her pregnancy. I've had a friend leave a bun in the oven as ask her husband if he can "check how it is baking" when he got home from work. Another friend told her husband she had great gossip. She said she had found out someone was pregnant. He was trying to guess and she said "it's us".

This is my fourth pregnancy, and I haven't done anything special for any of them! lol I either take the test while he's home and show it to him, or call him at work and tell him. That's me, super creative. Wink

Have you tried googling ideas? I found one several years ago where they took their Dh to A&W restaurant and ordered him a "papa burger".
