Thread: dr appt today

Well, had my checkup today and after my Dr came in and measured my belly and listened to hb she said she wanted to do an u/s since he was measuring big. She was right...he's going to be a big boy. Almost 5lbs now so I'm measuring close to 35 weeks. And no wonder my pelvis is killing me, he is still head down with his face already towards my back and head all the way down against my cervix...and his head is huge!

Wow, that is big. Did they have any guess as to a time frame for him to be out, or at what point they will get him out?

They don't induce till at least 39 weeks so unless he wants to come out sooner.

Hopefully you can get at least another 5 weeks under your belt... and that he slows down his growth just a bit before then. And then, that he makes a quick debut

Boo that sucks! Hopefully they're wrong since fundal measurements aren't totally accurate. Also the same thing happened at my appointment today, 28 weeks and measuring 32!

Well I gained 8 lbs in 3 weeks and its not fluid and eating hasn't changed so they're guessing its pretty accurate. My daughter was a 8lb 7oz baby and both SO and I were over 9lbs. So probably right...eeek!
