Thread: First scan is on FRIDAY!

I'm so excited (and scared). I just told my boss that I'm hoping to work a few extra hours this week to be off Friday afternoon. I'll leave my son with my dad, borrow his truck (and hope its not raining as the heater isn't working) and head on out to the doctors. At first they said it was just paperwork but I asked if there was any chance I'd be able to get an ultrasound to make sure we have a heartbeat and she fit me in with my Doctor just before all the paperwork was to be completed. I'll feel so much better once I see a heartbeat. I know DH will too.

Hope everything went alright

We do have a heartbeat but we're measuring much smaller than where we thought I was, by more than a week. She put my due date on December 2. But said the c section would be the last week of November so if its ok with all of you, I'd like to stay here.

Of course I personally am due Nov. 21st, but had my last 2 at 36 weeks, and 36 weeks and 5 days... which, if I go that way, I will have a late Oct. baby. Keeping my legs crossed that I can hold this baby in till at least 37 weeks (putting me in Nov.) if not longer Glad to hear that everything went ok, even if your dates got changed
