Four months and teething?

I swear to God that my four month old is teething! He's constantly drooling... Big time, he's biting on EVERYTHING he possibly can get into his mouth, and he's looking at food like "how do I get that from her into my mouth". He just turned four months old yesterday! I'm not ready for this stage again. I hope it goes quickly like it did with DS6. He broke teeth just a day after six months and by 12 months had all his teeth, including his molars. It was a long six months but at least it didn't go on for months at a time.

Kellen has been like that too but I dont think its actually teething. At this age putting things in their mouth is the only way they really have to play and explore things. And my ped told me the drooling at this age is normal and doesnt necessarily mean that they are teething. Could just be that hes ready for the cereal via spoon Smile

The earliest any of my kids got teeth was 7 or 8 months old. The other 2 didnt get them till their first birthdays, so Im not expecting Kellen to get any for a while

I believe it. DS2 got his first tooth at 5 months! It may not be long...

My son starting showing "teething signs" at 4 months but didn't get his first tooth till 7.5 months. Zoe has been doing the same for a month already! She'll chew on anything and fuss for something to chew on. She's drooling so much that we go through 4-6 bibs and 2-3 outfits a day! But no teeth coming through. Just baby fun. Blum 3 lol
