Had my ultrasound!

Hi girls!
Just wanted to update and say I had my U/S today... All looked well (to me) I'm sure I wont know anything until my next Doc APPT but it was definately reassuring to see it was actually a baby in there and not just a heart beating in a four legged blob or something!!

And.... The tech couldnt find boy parts..... so as of now I guess... its... a.. GIRL!

EEEK!!

Im still in so much shock/denial I can't believe it.

Kev jumped for joy and was so pumped- now he seems used to it and its no big deal.. While my head is just spinnnnning!!!!

And baby measured bigger than I thought... Which is kinda nice because my first u/s baby measured so small (the 8 week one) and I knew my ov dates were right- so im hoping maybe it...she... caught up... or maybe will come "on time" this time.. haha

How exciting! Congrats!!! I too was soo shocked when I found out I was preggo with DD. I felt so complete! No go figure I'm pg with #3! lol!!!! Did they move your EDD? I have yet to have a U/S that measures so they go off my LMP still. I still have a week and a day left to find out

Probably not, because they seem to go with the latest date possible (ugh) Like I KNEW when I ovulated yet the baby measured really small the first time- so they put me at Oct 28th, then the next week the baby grew a little and measured Oct 26th, even though that'd be like I tested positive at 6dpo which i guess is POSSIBle and its POSSIBLE the sperm liked 7 days but.. whatever.. haha

So now it seems more on track with my ovulation date, which would be like oct 20-24th (well it measured a little bigger then that, like 10 days ahead)... butttt they'll prob keep oct 28th and really drag it out hahah

Congrats!!! I'd let them stick to their later date. Means a few more days of them not pushing interventions and such if they're the type to do that for "overdue." Your dates are probably more correct and I'd trust those totally, but no harm in them thinking you have a later due date.
