How are you handleing "Did you have that baby yet?!" questions?

Both my mom and DH think it's absolutely fun freaking hilarious to text/call me every hour of every day for the past 3 days to ask me "are you in labor yet?" Beee How many moms do we have left still waiting? and how are you fielding the questions from both family and friends/acquaintances? I know I'm in the home stretch now and it'll be soon but sometimes I just want to strangle people! Like I can control when I go into labor.... if I could do that he'd be here already!!!

or "OMG, you must be having twins" . Last weekend, I got that comment when I said no, it is one baby, "well I had a friend who thought it was just one and they found another hiding in there at delivery." " I was never that big with mine"

Well good for you and go stuff your turkey.

I think I am going to start saying, "no thank God, I am not even due yet" Good luck and ignore those texts.

I get the "are you sure there isn't more than one in there?" from my mom SOOOO often. I think she's doing it just to be annoying. -.- I keep explaining to her that things like a hidden twin rarely ever happen now due to technology advances. I started responding to all texts with that link that someone (I can't remember who!) posted not too long ago www.haveyouhadthatbabyyet.com

I'm really glad I told most people "I've got until the end of the month." I'm starting to get a few FB posts and messages asking how I'm doing. My mom texts everyday asking how I am, but at least it's just once. Most people have no idea my EDD was last Wednesday! I told people with DS when I was "due" and omg they drove me nuts since he wasn't born till 41.5 weeks.

Yesterday while out shopping a sales lady asked how many WEEKS I had left because I was so small. At the next store, another costumer asked if I was sure there was only one. After my 41 week appt this morning my family went and had brunch. The waitress didn't even ask how much longer, just told me that I'll have my baby Thursday, maybe early Friday morning and that she's usually pretty close with these things. That was interesting.
