OK - when we went for the sonogram the other night it was not as clear as our first sonogram and we had a replacement sonographer (the original lady who does sonograms had to leave because unfortunately her mother passed away) --now I know who we got was qualified - she was typing fast and knew every body part as soon as they came up (God knows how, it all looked blurry to me!!!)...
Well, we were SO convinced it was a boy for so long that I feel insane, i keep thinking "what if it's just a really small penis???" I keep thinking, if it comes out a boy i'm going to have a nervous breakdown if i do a pink nursery and get girl clothes -and have a girl themed baby shower... I'm driving myself nuts... --so i finally started feeling "ok" today - and as soon as i come in from the dentist DH says to me "...is there any way you can ask your OBGYN after she looks at the results if she is sure it's a girl??" SO NOW HE IS 2ND GUESSING!...
My point is - i'm going to post our money shot, and ask for your opinions, especially those of you who have had kids already and have been through this.... thanks so much - sorry that we are insane, but everytime i feel cruddy about something and i post on this board all of the feedback makes me FEEL SO MUCH BETTER, i seriously love this board <3

That actually looks similar to my DD's "money shot."
With DS there was obviously an extra piece hanging away from the body.
Do remember that it's common to be correct on a boy (99% of the time) but to not always with a girl ( like 96-98% since the boy dangle can be hidden).
And that is definitely not as clear of a shot as we got.![]()

Anyway you can go to a 3rd party U/S place? It usually runs around 40$ (the price most insurances charge out of pocket for an ultrasound anyway) I don't even know if they have those where you live but they spend a ton of time checking out baby and making sure you're satisfied with the results. Just make sure the place you pick has a money back or replacement guarantee in case baby decides not to cooperate. I couldn't get the picture to load so I can't put my opinion into that at all.
I agree with Jackie. It's not the best quality shot, but it looks like a girl to me. With a girl there are 3 lines kind of stacked on top of each other. We got a really good one that I posted if you want to check my gender reveal thread to compare. With a boy it looks like a turtle, with a round circular shape (the testicles) and a small bump coming out from it (the penis). So in your u/s pic I see 2 lines, but no "appendage" coming away from the body. Sorry you're so stressed!
I say it definitely look like a girl, but I agree with Angela I would go to a 3D place. They take much better pics and its worth the money. We went at 17 weeks and they told us a boy and there was no mistaking it and it was great quality I posted it before but I'll post again on here so you can see the quality and I don't even have a pic of the one from my doc's office cos I swear the tech takes awful pics and their machine sucks. She said boy as well but I couldn't even see how she could tell. Anyways here is the 3D one at 17 weeks....
