Thread: If you don't have a name picked out.....

What are you calling your little ones? We can't find a name we agree on yet.

Up until I found out it was a boy, I was calling it Seymour just cause my stomach would growl so loudly it was like little shop of Horrors....
Now that we know its a boy, I call him Loki. Yes, Loki as in Thor's younger brother. He's a trouble maker. He moves constantly, especially at night. He's made me come close to passing out a few times. I've had the worst "morning" sickness (that never ended in the morning), and between that and the stomach pain that he causes... Loki it is until we find a name.

I actually LOVE the name Loki. DH shot it down a long time ago though. We dont have any boys names at all... we cant agree, and nothing is hitting the right cord with me in general... The only name we can agree on is for a girl... I guess we will see what next friday brings

oh, and the same thing happened with us the last 2 times. With DS2 the only names that sounded good to me were boy names... and I just kinda knew that he would be a Xander. With DD the only names that sounded good were girl names... one of the reasons I thought that for sure this was a girl... though, now seeing so many people on here are having boys, I'm starting to have my doubts lol

We like to nickname the baby from the beginning. DS was Baby Shark and this little guy is Cricket. It makes it easier than calling the baby "it."

My first I called tad poll or something like that... I cant remember for sure... its been a while lol
I dont think we called DS2 anything but he and Xander... we just kinda knew that was him

My sister's kids were Froggy, and Holmes fry or something like that. My other sister's little one I called turkey... she had the same due date last year that I have this year

I just call her baby right now! We havent even come close to deciding on a name yet!

DS is Squish on my blog. I really need a good nickname for Baby Girl like DS has for blog purposes. lol

We called DS#1 "Squirt" for the longest time, even after he was born. This one doesn't have a nickname yet, I just refer to him as "him" or "he". I jokingly said we were going to name him "Pepsi" because I was trying to explain to DS about how big the baby is right now (though I told him he doesn't quite weigh as much as the can did yet) and had DS referring to him as baby "Pepsi" for about a week. I'm sure we'll come up with something to fit his personality once he starts moving around like crazy.

"little fart" or "little fart blossom" She won't answer me when I ask her if her name should be this or that. She because I am sure it is girl and because I have some boy names picked out. And neither of my kids did we have a fianl name picked out until after they were born. She was also a surprise.

I love this thread! With DS2, we called him "Cletus the Fetus" and this one was "Bubby" as named by my 3 year old so, she may just have to deal with that if we can't come up w/ anything a little more girly. (That's going to be the story of her life...)
