I didn't sleep last pregnancy in the 3rd trimester. Sad I was lucky to get 3 hours total in 24 hours and I wanted to punch anyone who told me to enjoy my sleep while I could. I got way more sleep with a newborn than pregnant. I totally expect to be there again in a few weeks. *sigh* Sorry I'm not helpful my OB last time told me I couldn't do anything about it other than suffer.

I've been having more and more trouble staying asleep all night, too. Between having to get up to go to the bathroom, crazy dreams, and waking up every time I have to roll over, I feel like I'm sleeping just lightly off and on the whole night. Falling asleep is not a problem (tired all the time!) but staying asleep for more than an hour at a time is getting harder for me! I'm going to try and catch short naps when I can to feel more rested, but other than that, I don't know what to suggest! I hope you get some sleep soon, too!!

Right there with all of you. There are nights where I am out just about as soon as I hit the bed... but, then I cant stay asleep. Like PP said, its taking more and more effort to move, and in generally just hurts. Sometimes I wake up, know that I have to pee, but then lay there thinking to myself "Is it really going to be worth it to roll over, lower myself to the floor, try not to trip as I make my way down the hall, pee, walk back, and then hoist myself back into bed"... so, I lay there for a bit, making sure it really is going to be worth the effort lol. There are other nights where I just cant fall asleep, and just cant get comfy. I really need to get a stool so getting up into bed isnt such a struggle

My restless syndrome is kicking in now. Not every night yet, thank goodness. But it's only a matter of time. Plus my hips hurt so I have to move from side to side, ugh!

Yes my hips have been a major prob for me too! I sleep with a pillow in between my legs and that tends to help, but I still wake up in pain from my hips!! I have noticed that if I stop drinking fluids after 6 or 7pm that I dont have to pee as much at night, but I also get the crazy dreams that wake me up too!! UGH! There is just no winning it seems!
