Blood sugar perhaps? What have you been eating and drinking? It could be normal pregnancy or it could maybe be lower blood sugar. Also pregnancy affects your blood pressure (most people see a drop in it), so could be that too.
Thanks. Ive had blood sugar lows with my other 3 pregnancies, but this just feels different.... I had a bowl of mac and cheese (have been eating it A LOT lately). I also had a bowl of oatmeal after DD got up from her nap. Still wasnt feeling good. Took the kids to my SIL's. They are having a sleep over (kinda nervous, its the first time DD is spending the night without one of us parents with her), and DH and I went out for dinner and a show with some friends of ours. I was feeling horrid on the way up to where we were meeting our friends, i even noticed that my lips were really pale when I went to the bathroom, but I did get a little better once I had a water/lemon aide drink, and some more substantial food. I am also wondering if I got a touch of a stomach bug going on since I had symptoms of that this afternoon too (not going into details). Hoping that a good night of sleep, and spending as much time in bed tomorrow, will help I have been having more dizzy spells, head aches, weak feeling, and so on, this time around... but nothing like I was feeling today. If its still going on on Monday I think I may call my OB and just run it by her.
I wonder if it's due to the increase in blood your heart pumps while pregnant. I typically have low blood pressure but, run very low while preg-with DS2, I had to see a cardiologist b/c I was even experiencing slight palipatations along w/ the dizziness and light headedness. They ended up saying that it was due to the increase in blood. Hope you're feeling well enough soon-it's always scary to experience mystery symptoms.
Ive always felt that way in early pregnancy and sometimes later on as well! Def has to do with the change in blood, or so my doc says My blood pressure is usually around 95/50 while preggo! They said that has a lot to do with how you feel! Its always good to have the doc check your iron levels too! Maybe you can ask at your next appt?? Hope you are feeling better soon!
