manic feeling.... about going shopping???

I still could use at least a couple more fuzzy, or just warm, sleepers... Especially since it looks like the weather is going to change a bit around here. II could also use a couple more preemie outfits, ones for cool weather, for when we venture out. Then theres diapers, but those could wait till hes home... We are also going to need new bottles. I lent all of mine to someone and cant get them back. Im kicking myself because they were all those really nice breast flow ones, and now I cant find them, and they were expensive to begin with. Also, they were the one bottle that worked great with my breastfed babes. I would also love to get him hos own blankey, thats not a hand me down, like we have done for the other kids. Also, i really want to get some hair dye and do my hair. My roots have taken over and Id like to look semi decent for pictures when he comes. Ill have to talk to dh when he gets home and see what our finances are and what, if anything, i can get now. I seriously feel like im about to crawl out of my skin, keeping myself from going to the store right now . Has anyone else had this urge hit them out of no where? I mean, like they have to do it right now and will go nuts till they do?

Yes - in fact I woke up at 6:30 today, made my bed, had breakfast, got ready and to Target and Kohls--and like you, I need more fleece sleepers! So thats what I picked up some newborn and 3 month fleece sleepers, and i walked around the baby section of Target about 5 times just making sure I have what i need for right now. I even got some Christmas outfits/bibs and such...

I could have waited until Sunday because i'm going to babies'r'us with my aunt, mom and sister to get a baby shower gift for my cousins wife, but no - i had to go today---as soon as Target opened... I pulled in the parking lot at 7:55, and they opened at 8:00...lol

Mostly just things around the house here... no shopping urges yet.

sounds like you guys are doing some major nesting. they say that some women have an increase in energy before labor starts.

i would like to get more things but i am lacking on energy. way tired. everything seems hard. i have stuff to do around the house and i keep putting it off, including packing the hospital bags.

Definitely sounds like last minute nesting to me! Lol
I decided last week I *had* to go out and buy newborn and 0-3 month dresses. I also cut the bottoms off of plain long sleeve onesies to go under dresses since it's really hard finding them in long sleeves (with CDs and using a lot of wool a lot of onesies don't do us a lot of good!). I feel the need to get stuff done sooner than I did with Aiden. Maybe this means she'll be here sooner than 41.5 weeks. Lol

Feeling so much better. My sister got wee dude a really cute blanket, which she already gave to me knowing that im a planner and would want to have it right away. She also sent me a link from craigslist of a lady selling preemie clothes. I went over there and was able to get abunch of sleepers, a couple outfits, some onesies, and a pair of pants for $20. My sister is also lending me some bottles her daughter has out grown, so I should be just about set. We may find that we still need a few incidentals, but for now I feel more ready. The only other thing we will NEED to get are diapers, but we wantto wait till we know what size well need. Plus, the hospital always sends you home with some, so well be ok. This morning I re packed wee dude's bag, and added my katan carrier, as well as my boppy pillow to mine. I am still looking for my nursing cover (for when people come to visit), and Ill have to have DH grab my exercise ball from our .oom when its time.
