Default Maybe, maybe, possibly? (Updated with picture)

So here's a picture of the test from this morning:

Hi there. Some of you know me from the TTC board. I've got a 2 1/2 year old DD, and DH and I have been TTC #2 for about 23 months.

Now I don't want to get too excited yet, but this morning I got a positive test. It was with a dollar tree test, so I'm definitely testing tomorrow with something else to confirm, but I didn't even have to squint to see the line. And I have none of my usual PMS symptoms. Seriously, aside from being drop dead tired and getting dizzy easily, I feel so oddly normal.

    So, um, fingers crossed?

Oh, and to make things even more exciting, my sister is expecting, too. Assuming everything goes picture perfect, this baby would be due one week after hers. Cool, huh?

Ohh, congrats. You know what they say, a line is a line. Especially if you don't have to squint!

I know... I've just heard of some false positives with Dollar Tree tests recently. I've always had good results with them in the past (two of my three positive tests - I guess now three of four - were with DT tests), but I just want to be sure. YKWIM?

I think most false positive problems are related to early squinters! If you've got a clear line I think you're good! With my last pregnancy I took a dollar tree, got a really light line and confirmed it an hour later with a FRER as a positive. Good luck! Update us tomorrow!

Eeek Harmony! This is so exciting! You should totally post a pic of the test for those of us who are dying to see it! I would think if you got a clear line the chances are good. I've gotten 4 false positives on the $ tests but 3 of them were squinters and one of them I think just happened to smudge right where the line should be so it looked positive when it really wasn't. When I took the test apart the whole stick was that way so my guess is if it looks legitimate it probably is. Yay!

Oh and this time around I felt similar. My only real symptom by the time I got my bfp was sore breasts like crazy sore but mine are always like that cause I have fibrous cysts. Other than that though I felt totally normal. No mood swings, no cramps, no nothing to indicate AF was coming and to me that was probably what tipped me off the most. I'm so excited and can't wait to hear how your next test goes!
