Default No poopie diaper since early Tuesday morning

So, Kyla hasn't pooped since Tuesday morning (it's Thursday morning as I write this). At what point should I become concerned that she's constipated (i'm already concerned)... but she is not acting like she is in pain, and she isn't really fussing - she doesn't have a hard stomach... i'm thinking of calling the pediatrician, thoughts?

Sorry, I don't remember - FF or BFing? I wouldn't be concerned yet if BFing when there's no other concerns.

If I remember right, she's formula fed? She will probably poo less often than a breast-fed baby would, but I would call your pedi just to be safe. When my DS was about 7 months old, he went 11 days without pooing!

My breast fed babies would go 2 weeks without pooping at times. Which, the doc said was normal since breast milk diesnt have as much waste and they just used all of it up. I was aldo told that if they were formula fed and did the same thing that it would be bad since formula has more waste. Try taking her temp rectaly, make sure to have a diaper under her when you do it. This can stimulate her to poop. Some kids take longer to develop their rectal, and intestional, muscles and coordination. If that doesnt work, I would take her in just to get checked out

She is formula fed - thanks everyone!!!

i did call the pediatrician - they said this is very normal with formula fed babies and that if i wanted to bring her in i could, but all they're going to do is, like you said Kier, put the rectal thermometer in her to stimulate things and get things going. so i asked when i should become concerned and they said if she doesn't go in a week to bring her. they also said as long as her belly isn't hard or protruding (which it isnt), it's normal.

thanks! everyones advice matched the pediatrician
