Thread: Nursery progress?

Nice space! The nursery here is a wreck. Still need to find the regular crib rail too since right now it's set up as a toddler bed for Aiden.

The curtains aren't going to work because DS needs darkness to sleep. Trying to find room darkening curtains that will cover both windows and still fit in our budget. Apparently no one wants short curtains anymore - everything I see out in town are 84" long!

ohhh, i see - i love room darkening curtains - i got a set for my own bedroom in target. they came in long and shorter ones, but it was only 1 curtain per pack.

All of these rooms & nurseries are sooooo cute! So exciting!

I'm jealous of everyone who actually has their's put together. We still need to move DH's office stuff out of the room we will use. We need to do it soon because all of the baby stuff is in piles all over the house right now until we get it organized. We have been saying we will do it every weekend for like the past month but never can find the time to get to it. Soon though!

You've got plenty of time still Claire! We haven't touched the nursery other than the move DS's stuff out. There's still more to move around, take out, and bring in. Room is tiny and I didn't put much thought into it when we got here in March.

The only ones my target has in stock are girly ones. I have to draw the line at purple and teal! lol

Yeah I'm having a super hard time finding where to get decent black out curtains that will match the decor...

So far all I've got set up, (and not even that all the way) is a bassinet. DH will hopefully get that done this weekend. Then I can start rearranging our room to fit it and hopefully a rocking chair at the same time. When he's a few months old and sleeping through the night I'll set up the crib in his big brothers room.
