Nursery progress?

Is anybody doing a nursery? I'd love to see pics if anyone has anything done. Baby is going to be in our room and then move in with DD once she's sleeping through the night, so no real nursery here. I have to live vicariously through you all. I loved decorating DS1 and DD's nurseries and I miss it!

We found out last night that we're not moving this winter (got unofficial military orders)! Woo hoo! Well, hopefully. That might change in the next week or two, but chances are high that we're staying. So I can finally start on setting up DS's big boy room and once moved over I can work on the nursery!

So far all I have done is painting - the walls are pink, and we got a light grey rug! The rug hasn't come in yet - next weekend we're getting the crib/dresser/changing table so when all that is set up i'll start taking pictures and posting Smile i have a girl jungle type bedding set that we're getting with monkeys, elephants and giraffes- it's cute!

We decided to put a second crib in Ellie's room. I added some art and some shelves. It's all done! I'll try and get some pics up, although I didn't take any befores.

Also no nursery here...so I'm really excited to see what everyone else does!! We'll have baby in our room for a bit, then when DS2 is ready for a big boy bed, we'll move him in with DS1 and the baby in the crib. I think if this baby was a girl, I'd be really itching to do a nursery, but since it's boy #3, I am ok not doing it.

I DO need to start getting out the newborn sizes from storage and washing them up, though...organizing projects swirl in my head almost constantly lately. Smile

We're not doing a nursery here either. We'll have the baby in our room for the first 6 months or so. The only thing I've done so far is re-arrange where we store clothing. So not very exciting.

Well, we'll be doing a nursery but I'm mostly waiting since we don't know the gender. I did get a whole wall graphic mural through my blog to review so DH and I put that up. I picked a forest friends theme which could go either way. But I have a feeling that if it's a girl, I may want something more girly. The good news is that the graphics can be peeled off and re used so I can always move it to the younger boys' room. I'm really thinking it's a boy though so it will probably stay Smile I found a forest friends theme crib set that would match great. Here are some pics:

Okay, not a nursery but my son's big boy room is done! (Well, minus a lamp and music player since he's going to sleep in the nursery till the weekend.) No laughing at the curtains. Can't find anything to work permanently just yet! lol

that room looks GREAT!!! i don't even think the curtains are bad!

Here is Kyla's nursery so far - it's still bare but it should be coming together with decor and whatnot after the shower:

The rug is gray, it looks a little purple in the pics. we have some wall art that still has to be hung too Smile

Nice space! The nursery here is a wreck. Still need to find the regular crib rail too since right now it's set up as a toddler bed for Aiden.

The curtains aren't going to work because DS needs darkness to sleep. Trying to find room darkening curtains that will cover both windows and still fit in our budget. Apparently no one wants short curtains anymore - everything I see out in town are 84" long!

ohhh, i see - i love room darkening curtains - i got a set for my own bedroom in target. they came in long and shorter ones, but it was only 1 curtain per pack.

All of these rooms & nurseries are sooooo cute! So exciting!

I'm jealous of everyone who actually has their's put together. We still need to move DH's office stuff out of the room we will use. We need to do it soon because all of the baby stuff is in piles all over the house right now until we get it organized. We have been saying we will do it every weekend for like the past month but never can find the time to get to it. Soon though!

You've got plenty of time still Claire! We haven't touched the nursery other than the move DS's stuff out. There's still more to move around, take out, and bring in. Room is tiny and I didn't put much thought into it when we got here in March.

The only ones my target has in stock are girly ones. I have to draw the line at purple and teal! lol

Yeah I'm having a super hard time finding where to get decent black out curtains that will match the decor...

So far all I've got set up, (and not even that all the way) is a bassinet. DH will hopefully get that done this weekend. Then I can start rearranging our room to fit it and hopefully a rocking chair at the same time. When he's a few months old and sleeping through the night I'll set up the crib in his big brothers room.
