I just realized NOW that on the bottom of my Brita pitcher there was this HUGE patch of, what I thought was green mold, but my Dad says mold only grows in dry areas, so DH says it was probably a fungus and "not to worry"...
All i drink is water from that pitcher all day and night, today i had a 32 oz. water bottle of it, i didn't even see this green patch, then when i went to pour myself a glass just now i saw it, and i am freaking out - i don't know what to think or what to to do! ...
Take a deep breath. A little penicillin is ok, and I doubt there would have been any spors in your water, and if so it would be such a minute amount. Also, if there was, your saliva, stomach acids, etc., would have killed it off. Also, Big molecules like that dont tend to pass though. the placenta. I'm sure you and baby are fine. I say scrub it, or toss it and get a new one (if that's an option).
I wouldn't worry about it. Just replace it. If you suddenly feel really bad I'd get myself checked out, but chances are it's done nothing to you. Our bodies are amazing!![]()
