Pregnancy aches and pains

I feel full of little complaints this time around. I'm really trying to enjoy this one as I'm getting tied while i'm in the hospital but its really hard when I'm out of breath from hardly doing anything already and my hips hurt so badly. They've begun expanding already. I got rid of my exercise ball when I moved but I'm going to have to get another one to sit on. Its the only thing that brought me any sort of relief with DS and I didn't even find out about that until 36 weeks. This time I know early on. I really don't want to be complaining so early into it but this little guy is living up to the nickname Loki. He is trouble.

My hips are feeling very loose already too! It doesn't bother me as long as I take frequent breaks sitting down throughout the day, but when I don't WOW! I thought I was falling apart Saturday night after spending all day on my feet on our day trip. I've also been getting round ligament pains already. I had a few BHs Friday night too, which I didn't have much of at all with DS (even at the end). So many BTDT moms tell me that they've had these uncomfortable moments sooner with subsequent births that I just keep reminding myself that it's normal and I do what I can to help me feel better.
I never used an exercise ball with DS but I already bought one and use it daily this time! I've also found some positions from Spinning Babies that while they look odd or uncomfortable are actually helping me be more comfortable. And maybe eventually it'll help this girl decide to be head down... haha.

I completely understand. This is looking like it will be my last time being prego, so I am trying to enjoy it as much as possible... ignore the pains and such.. try not to worry... and so on, and just enjoy it. Its hard though, especially when chasing the kids around is getting more and more difficult, sitting, everything. Someone at my cousin's baby shower told me (after hearing that this is my 4th) "wow, you must love being pregnant." I told her no. lol. She seemed confused. Its not that I dont love things about being pregnant... feeling the baby move, watching my belly grow, those fun things... its the aches, pains, and so on, that makes it not so much fun Sad

I told DH that I just want it to be November already, I'm so sick of being pregnant. Between the aches and pains and all the other good stuff I'm just done. I actually like being pregnant, mainly because I have body issues and it helps me to not give a crap because I'm pregnant so I'm allowed to look fat. XD But I just want him here already and to know for 100% that he's healthy and perfect!

Agree with you all. I'm not sure if this will be our last yet or not, but it's definitely gotten harder each time, physically! I feel like this LO is so super low that there is so much pulling on my back and pressure in my hips and sides like I can FEEL my belly expanding as I sit here. But, I'm thankful that I'm not sick and that he's kicking around like crazy in there, so I'm trying to put my feet up when I can and rest when I need to just like you guys said so that I can enjoy it for all the good parts Smile Now, I have 2 massage certificates to use, is it greedy to use them within 2 weeks of each other?? I know I should probably save one for closer to October, but I don't want them to expire before I use them either! Anyone know if it's ok to get a massage in the last month?

This is our last as well and I definitely feel more uncomfortable this time. I loved being pregnant the last two times. This time not so much. I'm just ready for it to be done. I'm ready to go back to sleep on my stomach, for my insomnia to be gone, to be able to walk around without sounding like I am huffing and puffing.

People keep telling me how long it is until November, and It makes me just want to cry. I know it's going to go by in a flash, but having someone say "Oh wow you've got a ways to go" doesn't help.

awww, and i think it's close -it's all about perpsective don't listen to those people that say it's a long ways away - it's only 4 months, and in my head as soon as september gets here everything flies right by between holidays and stuff... it just feels far because it's summer, and november is fall

i have back aches a lot and my hips hurt occasionally in the mornings.

I hate to say it, but I am glad I am not the only one experiencing more this go around. I have been wondering what is wrong with me. Honestly, my first pregnancy was worse when I came to morning sickness although I am still sick with with baby too. I don't know if it will go away this time or not, but that part doesn't seem quite as bad this time. But all the other stuff seems worse. My abdomen aches every night, I have been having BHs already, I am sooooooo tired this time. I was not this tired before. I feel like I look fatter this time too. LOL I know that is vain and I honestly haven't gained as much weight this time around, but I feel like it's sitting differently on my belly and I in turn look wider and fatter. Just thought I would throw that complaint to the mix. Smile

This is my first and only and, agreed. I have nothing to compare it too, however, I am sore, tired, can't breathe (that's probably also because I quit smoking February 28th so my lungs are still getting rid of the grossness) , I am already waddling.... The heat is getting to me, I am still sick some days, baby is ruining my teeth... But I still love feeling him kick and move... lol... When does November get here???

Renee, you've got it right by mentioning the heat! I spent 2/3rds of DS's pregnancy living in Las Vegas.....but no one does anything outside in the summer there so it didn't bother me much at all. This time we're living on the east coast where outside activities rule in the summer and add in the heat wave with the humidity and I've been dying! Being pregnant the entire hot season SUCKS and definitely causes problems. But on the plus side we'll have our babies for Christmas. Biggrin

I have to say this has been the easiest pregnancy by far...up til now. Not that it's bad now but the heartburn has kicked in big time, the skin on my belly feels super tight and uncomfortable, I have no energy or motivation (the record breaking heat doesn't help) and I can't walk upstairs without huffing and puffing. I really do love being pregnant for the most part but all these little things add up and make it hard at times.
