question for kier

What kind of nuk were you able to get your LO? I can't find a single paci that Gideon will take when his colic is inconsolable.

Oh we have those and he kinda likes it but everything seems so small. Like the 0-6 month on all pacifiers he just lets it fall out lol

I hope that you are able to find on that he will take Sad my DS was never picky, he would suck on anything! Callie likes the soothies and won't take the gumdrop ones.

I was actually just at target and was so tempted to buy a package of 6+ pacifiers and see if it made a difference but I was worried that then those would be too big. I think I will have to bite the bullet and give it a try.

My son never took a paci ever. Of course he refused bottles too after 6 weeks. Blum 3

Zoe will sometimes (so like once every 2-3 days) take a soother. Nothing else. I keep trying whenever she's sucking her thumb because a paci I can take away, thumbs I can't! Ha.

My older boys took pacies. DS1 took the mam 6mo+ from about a week till I took it away when he was 1. DS2 took the soothie brand from the beggining till I took it away at just under a yr. He was way more attaches to his, plus I was prego with DD so waited till she was out and we were a bit more settled. Dd refused nuks all together and bottles as well. Kellen will take the nuk during the day but not nearly as attached to it as the older boys were it seems. Also, I dont give it to him at night. He only wakes up to eat 1 to 3 times at night knock on wood and I dont want him to HAVE to have it in order to sleep.

this is what Cristiano uses. All 3 of my kids only liked this type (round nipple)
Gerber First Essentials Soft Center Latex Pacifiers, 2pk: Feeding : Walmart.com

We just got these now and he took right to it and usually he fights taking one and we need him to find one he loves for when he has bad episodes of colic

We've had a tough time on the pacifier front too, DS1 was picky at first but after a few weeks decided he liked the playtex ortho-pro ones and the advent ones. Carson however has decided that only the real thing will do and mommy is a human pacifier :/ it makes leaving the house rather difficult (not to mention doing ANYTHING when I am at home). I hope you find something that Gideon likes soon!

Sean prefers the silicone nuk to anything latex.
